Once again, , a very expressive presentation by this dynamic duo! I'm wondering how they created that plucking effect. it sounds like the strings are muted, or maybe it's with a soft pedal. does anyone know.
Imagine that stick failing and that roof of the piano fells off on that girls head XDD it wont cause any injuries but would definitely hurt tho XDD am i braindamaged for imagining that??
Seriously! You could have literally both been washed out to sea!!!! Rogue waves have been known to pull people into the ocean to their deaths. I'm a classical singer and years ago when I came here from New York City Myself and some other colleagues went to the oceanfront and dangled our legs Into the water on rocks. it was exciting esecially for me since it's never seen anything like this. today, after seeing news reports of people being swept in the ocean by Rogue waves, I realized that we were all at high risk of a rogue wave. I'm really enjoying your videos And as a singer I was wondering where you've got those arrangements because I've done some sets from West Side Story. Now I see that it's improvisation. Interestingly enough also, I've had the idea and actually did it in using costumes with A classical singing erformance. I was criticized by a colleague for even having that as an idea, but I finally get get to do it though with much less elaboration than the two of you on your videos. this is a song by the Italian composer Francesco Tosti: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_qT34JYYl4Y.htmlsi=p6ol8dF-AQZ0ik4a
It's nice to hear this fine duo perform something without the special effects, though those are cool too, but this song lends itself to a more initmate appoach. What an idylic pair and so in tune with each other.
Listening to this performance again after 4 years, I can only repeat that it is beyond description brilliant. Bravissimo! Greetings from South Africa 🎉
A little late to leave a comment but wanted to thank you both, Greg and Elizabeth, for sharing your thoughts, your genuine words of expression, expertise and perspective as artists yourselves, and for doing the work of research (and for being there at the competition first hand 😊) to show us a glimpse of who Yunchan is and where his music stems from. I’ve watched this over and over again since the beginning of this year, when I discovered him (I know, a little in that too😢), and it is a treat every time. Liz, I love what you said about his musical soul being protected as he lives through life, and Greg, what you said about being careful about keep pointing to his young age because you’re right the gifts he brings us is not about the age, it’s about his true and bottomless devotion to music and his special, beautiful way of sharing it.
A mon humble avis, ça manque un peu de nuances, à l'image de David Fray pianiste français qui se refuse d'interpréter Bach comme une mécanique. C'est dommage, parce que leur technique est irréprochable. Question de goût comme dit David.
Tell me that there is a problem with this channel !! Such beautiful music so much efforts and no reward!😢😢😢 so unfair they are the best piano duo I've ever seen and no-one seems to care!
The skilful and seemless blend of these 2 melodies has produced a masterpiece that I'm sure will be enjoyed by many music lovers. This is most definitely musical therapy of the highest order. I play it in the morning to prepare me for whatever challenges the day presents and last thing at night to induce a peaceful rest. My thanks and many congratulations to Greg Anderson and Elizabeth Joy Roe for crafting a masterpiece that will provide unending enjoyment.
You two are like a breath of fresh air in a stale world. You have enriched the lives of so many music lovers, and now you have been joined by a new musical force of nature. Good luck in all you do.
