In all dreams we make the same mistake: we identify with the person and regard the rest as other(s). Each time it takes awakening to (be able to) realize our mistake: we were the whole dream, all of it, there were no others. I find it fascinating to live (the dream called) life knowing this. Thank you for mentioning that the pressure to internalize our society's hyper-competitive/comparative norms can really make it difficult to feel like we belong, even when we relate to others!
