I traveled to Thailand to Mahasarakham in 1995 and learned Muay Thai like the Thais at the Decha Gym. I did many trainer courses in Thailand and also ran a gym there. With my media work I would like to share my experiences in Muay Thai.

Some of the Thai bags are also filled with sand (but only a part, not complete with sand). Also it is used wood and rubber material, depends on the gym and the fighters. However, mostly in Thailand as word is used "sandbag", but for not making to much confusion, the headline is changed :-)
