Just a guy with a taste for some good ol' fashioned commercials. This channel will basically be the dumping ground for whatever ad related stuff I come across.
watching as a kid- "woah thats so cool, mom can we get one?! :D" watching as an obese adult- "If I eat any carbs, my body will hang onto it for dear life..." :[
Okay, I gotta know. Did anybody else buy this? I remember my mom got this back in 2004, and only used it once to make us a cake with vanilla pudding filling. It actually wasn’t too bad from what I remember. But after that, she never used it again and it’s sitting in the garage now. I’m wondering if I should take it and start making my own cake creations, but I want to also hear anybody else’s experiences with it. Was it as cool as the commercial made it out to be, or was it not as good?
I remember seeing these as a very young kid, also the zoo books and animal face plates to name another few. I would have never expected these ads to become somewhat nostalgic at some point lol
I can tell you right now, this is not what TV looked like in 2004. Somebody put a 1963 filter on this shit. Or else they taped it on a VHS they owned since the 80's.
Old commercials hit different back then. I actually enjoyed watching them. Now they’re just older people saying gen-Z slang or acting stupid for some reason.
I remember just saying, “I wanna eat that,” at every cake that came up on screen except the watermelon and baseball cakes. I was around 2nd or 3rd grade age when this commercial was on TV.
