Just Americans doing American things. Not playing by the rules, American exceptionalism... just don't use the word cheat, or they'll get their jimmies rustled.
tour de france on channel 4 those were the days! i was 7 when lance Armstrong 'won' the first of his tours although it was amazing to watch at the time i felt so let down in 2012 it wasnt until the mark cavendish era came along i realised cycling could be won cleanly again
We live in a different age, one that may not allow the forgiveness of Lance Armstrong, that may hold him to be the creator rather than the product of the era he reigned over. We might even judge this champion's cheating and lying too vile to permit the remembrance of the part of him that, even now, convinced that he doped to win the Tour, I can't stop being a fan of: the plain fact that he was, as even his bitter enemy Floyd Landis told me when we spoke last year, "a badass on a bike."
@@saxy1player well yeah, you still have to train. EPO won't turn a couch potato into an elite cyclist. But normal margins in grand tours are within 5 minutes And EPO can make that difference
The solution is very simple for this area to Plant trees reforest the area and make rainwater storage ponds, lakes and dams when you have more trees in the area the rainfall will increase vegetation will grow more and will stay long time temperature will drop nature will come back when you have enough water everything will be come very easy.
@@tasmanmcmillan1777I am living in middle east and the temperature can reach 50c from april to September and yearly we getting less than 8 inch rainfall but here we some native species trees which stand totally green very green ever green trees you can check on Google about this trees. yes totally agree with you but when you plant native trees or Arabian desert trees which can stand in 45 to 50 c the soil in your area look very good once you cover the area by trees I am sure the temperature will drop. When you have more trees you will get more rain when you have more rain underground water table will rise and stable. I can challenge you your area can be reforest within few years with small amount of money. Thanks
That's possible but very hard... Especially since the Australian government doesn't see it as a priority and the land is currently leased to cattle companies. Not to mention as well that it will cost a lot of money which the Australian government does not have or is being used for something else. The middle east is a different topic, You guys over there still have oil money which can be used for reforestation.
@killermarfidyoh 138 - yes you are correct it's a money thing, the Australian Government has an enormous amount of land the same desert country as Anne Creek about the size of we can't really imagine and why spend what isn't available as it's not a priority for this type of desert country it's way more likely to put money into Irrigation in areas where water is actually present for bang for the buck as it were.
@@tylerdurden2806Ah, yes, the excuse a 5 year old uses. Also, if it wasn’t a big deal, why did Lance go after, ruin the reputations or threaten the livelihood of anyone who tried to expose the truth?
@@4plus20isHappy Cause he had millions of dollars riding on it. I think most of us would do a lot more for a lot less. And he's a sociopath. You don't win 7 tours without being a lunatic.
Dicen es la estancia mas grande del mundo ANNA CREEK , pero se ve que un lugar àrido ..pobre el ganado la falta de agua... abrà vacantes para trabajos rurales ..les darìamos una mano los "gauchos" argentinos...
@owaingibby well it's decent quality apart from the audio, I have the htc desire which captures sound really well but video at night isn't too brilliant although I might have it setup wrong
