Just sandpaper of 600 to 2000 grit basically, You didn't specify that or what it is essentially which can be misleading to those who don't make jewellery. Matte paper is not the correct term either, even with google you won't find what you need if someone new were to look it up. For anyone who wants a matt finish on their piece, all you need is a sandpaper of at least 600 grit so it doesn't look too scratchy; the finer the grit the less marks and more into satin finish you will move, ofc at 10000+ grits you will be more into polished finish territory, gluing the sandpaper on a piece of sponge can help with uneven surfaces.
@@SoleilMagica Yeah no worries, I have no idea why some people try to monetize and sell snake oil to people. Btw, if you wish to get a super shiny sparkling finish you'd need a tumbling machine and steel shot and I extremely recommend you get a barrelbrite with it its a special compound for tumbling that not only improves the finish but more importantly inhibits rust so you can leave the barrel with all the shot and water and no need to dry it. It's a pain in the ass otherwise been there trust me haha.
Thanks for this video! You make it look so easy. I just have a couple questions: what kind of needle did you use to thread the stones and what type of line/thread did you use? Hopefully you see this comment. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

A bit confused as I never saw any heat applied. Fusing fine silver to fine sliver doesn’t require flux, but putting fine silver granulation on a sterling band or ring does. It also requires soldering. Since I see this being fluxed, I would assume it will be sweat soldered, but how are you applying the solder? Is that a paste of solder and flux you are using?
It sounds like children are shouting in the background. Do you ensure that there is no child labor in the factories where you have your products produced?
I know this is an old video - but I tried this today (first time making earrings) and your tutorial was spot on and gave me so much confidence. Really enjoyed it thank you
Thanks for sharing this great idea, I like this a lot, but what length of cord is used on each cording & what size is that crimp, I see someone else asked you this as well, with no reply, hhmmm.
