How tall are you, and how well does it do on highway? Im 5'10, nearly 6' in boots and the dealer talked me out of the 500 SE ABS into getting a Vulcan S650, saying it matched my size, was better on highway and i wouldn't outgrow it as fast.

Harley boy's making fun of your quite bike atleast you can talk to others while bike running.I'm deaf in one ear 👂& can't hear any of my mates talking while Harley's running. I just do the obligatory hand signals & head nods & make out I heard them & then just follow them😂. I've told them I deaf in 1 ear 👂& can't hear anything over their bikes a ton of times too.When I lead I just do the international sign language point to cap on gas ⛽ tank,Follow me,Stop etc.
@@mfpun-nzRev counter is handy while riding with Noisey Harley boy's.My mates Fatbob had 2-1 Thunder Header & it blew the baffle out on road somewhere & is now loud as fu#k too loud.
@@mfpun-nz I know you'll be good! And your legend will last your whole life. I know it! Just stay sharp, DON'T show off, and ask God to keep you alive. He saved me more times than I can count. Dirt & street. Do that, and you will have stories to tell your grand kids.
the only (and last time) I "rode" in the rain, it was because my friend had to tow my broken down scooter back to my house using his chinese grom clone bike and an extension cable and it started pouring (i crashed) 💀💀
Something about trying to stay alive while you're riding that helps to clear the mind. No time to think about all the stressful things that get you down :)
I see content in Auckland, and content in Whangarei... but there's a certain piece of road in between I haven't seen... and it starts with a road to Dargaville on the left. you know the one!
Yea I try avoid it, but I chose to take a test in the middle of winter while the Positions weren't all booked out... and at 7:45 am too lol! But I still wont ride on Auckland North western Motorway in afternoon Peak traffic to get home from work, that is dangerous enough in a car... I go through Kelston, Glendene & Henderson instead!
Respect doing your test in winter. I aimed for the clearest day in summer I could find :) That motorway traffic gets crazy, pick your battles for sure.
