@@Phoenixsuns1968 I know and even when they made the playoffs after the last cup runs… it’s been short lived with 1st round exits. Their aging obviously but I’m okay watching the core a little longer. They earned. We can slowly get young over next couple years and start it all over. Gotta just enjoy the time left with the legends. And yeah the Detroit win was unreal. True underdog story!

@@LouieAWDTSi there hard to find and there expensive . The r/t was like 60 k this past year and the final srt was like 80 . I had a challenger after the Durango and traded the challenger for the charger . Challenger too tight inside . I am from ocean county NJ . I know your near cherry hill .
The bottom right side of the light “looking” like it’s out or dull??? IS WATER! It’s water leaking into the lens. You NEED to run a bead of Silicon around the racetrack light to stop this from happening!!!

Happened to me today in a 2016. Do you know if there’s a recall for this? There’s a circular piece that looks like it was welded to the truck that came off. Going to see if it’s the same that you described
@@lisam110 that circular piece (if it’s a ball) is part of the stud that is probably stuck inside of your Durango. Sucks because getting it out can be a real pain if you don’t have someone who can weld like my buddy did for me. Others said they had to goto the dealer or even a body shop. I got lucky And I am 90% sure there is no recall for this just like the failing taillights #dodge
I bought a house that had one of these exact models on the property. Its a great shed, only issue I have with it is it leaks some when its raining and the wind is blowing hard. It doesn't leak in normal rain, just storms. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another of these.
@@danh2528 yeah I still need to keep working with adjusting the doors. Sometimes there’s a hair of water near the door. Door on the right is a little too high. But overall I’m happy with this shed. I have a resin Rubbermaid shed since 2015 and it’s held up great! So getting another resin shed was a must when I needed more storage.

@@stevieboymkiiyup Eagle Talon and eclipse are essentially the same cars. This was originally an eclipse but I wanted a Talon convertible. They never made a talon convertible so I converted it to a Talon based on preference and something a little different
Any news if Dodge is stepping up to the plate. My 2016 RT track light has dimmed on the lower left side. I've seen too many Durangos with this problem. A new track light cost around $1600, not including labor. Dodge dropped the ball on this issue. 🤬
At the 2:25 mark in the video .. I mention how it left a little bit of a shadow of the RT on the paint from the residue .. so I just used that. 2014 badge so it was on for some time. But you can use a piece of masking tape around the RT logo before you pull it off so line up the new badge
@@LouieAWDTSi thanks for your reply. The reason I ask is because mine has no badge on the right hand side and I have to figure out where to put the RT so it is in the exact factory position but there is no where online that tells me this.
@@15DurangoRT I can measure mine for you give an idea. But I do think if you have eye ball it .. you’ll be fine… especially if you have another Durango RT or GT around in a parking lot to see (snap a pic next time) lol you can kinda of see it’s placement
I like what you have done. I think I may do the same to my wife’s Durango. Hers is a 2014, we didn’t learn about the 10mm bolt until it was too late. I on the other hand took mine out of my 2017 the day I brought it home. So far I still haven’t gotten any burnout.
2014 the car is 10 years old LED lights dont last for ever especially when electonics get wet. Chev tahoe and GMC yukon tail lights ssme thing at 1000 each. 2014 Ford explorer LEDheadlights st 1200 each
Updating. I own a 22 durango and water does get in. Removed the bolts. Lights still working good but it is a concern definitely. Taking it to dodge so they re seal it before the lights burn out.
@LouieAWDTSi they didn't do anything at all. They mr obvious told me " we don't see water inside the light" im like "yeah i drained but im telling you it happens" they said since is not under bumper to bumper guarantee they can't do it for free. I have extended guarantee but they need pictures of it or see the water in so they can work it out with the warranty company because the only they can do is replace the light.
@@rollerxs850 unreal.. they are playing dumb…. acting like it’s not a known issue. They probably dealt with 1,000s of these lights at just that one dealer! Take pics and video I guess next time. Stay ahead of it. If they replace it.. keep your old light. Tell them it’s yours. You can use it as a back up down the road.
I got my 06 around the same time as you with books codes wheel locks everything when u buy it fresh from the lot I’m the second owner all 3-4 keys/spares but mines came with 200k highway miles in Maryland super clean driven by a cool older lady in her 40s-50s , I seen she had a front fender bender nd it dented the tip off the hood very little sold it for 3k … when you in Maryland link for cruise I’m getting ready to swap
Yeah thats a shame they give you a 2 year warranty like your got and then blows out after warranty. I had durango only for a year and didnt happen but i am sure it was gonna happen i see these all the time . Its just a seal that wears down idky they dont just fix the issue . People spending now 65k for r/t 85k for srt and 110k for hellcat . And that issue will never be fixed . Penguins were hot . Now slipping away no post season again . They had 18 yrs in a row . That was the longest years in a post season.of north american sports nhl nba mlb nfl.
Both depressing topics 😢 yeah the seal is the issue and the light also splits after time as well.. just enough for moisture. But yeah that seal you can’t see should’ve been addressed. They certainly are not cheap rides.. maybe made cheap though. Yeah.. pens need to blow it up and be bad for awhile .. re stock the farm. I feel bad for sid since he is still playing at such a high level. Maybe go let him chase another cup somewhere else if he wants🫠 They should’ve made a coaching change during one of these losing streaks .. it was probably the only hope to squeeze into the playoffs. 2020 Durango RT 67,000 miles. Just replaced two motor mounts. The water pump was replaced under the factory warranty when it like 28k miles. Awesome family car
I have a 2020 RT 65k miles on it. Water pump at 32k, 1 motor mount replacement, differential mount, and crank sensor. Oh and tires. Bought the truck new in 2019. Great truck!
