I started this channel as to raise aspirations for individuals with disability. Many people with disability have fewer opportunities or find it more difficult to learn or to access the curriculum in a way that suits their needs. Assistive technology is often expensive and it can be difficult to find the right combination to support disabled children and adults in the classroom and outside it. This channel will hopefully provide a window onto the disability experience of Higher education and the journey to my life is a postgraduate research student. I have used Parsley Box for a couple of months now and will continue to do so. To me, it's to do with convenience and variety. These meals are not just for those who struggle to prepare meals - I'm able bodied, under 60 years old and don't have any health problems. I'm not lazy either, I just prefer to spend my time doing something other than cooking.
My name islachelle I have mild cerebral palsy my leg gets stiff how to get pain in my leg that's why we're leg braces I wear but my mom New Balance sneakers😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
I'm going to have, 'Bless 'em all' stuck in my head for hours! Thank you very much. And then there's 'Kiss me goodnight sargent Major'. Nice video, hun. I'm sure I will have told you at some point but my grandfather came from Poland, from Plock.
I have cerebral palsy. I was born very prematurely and had prolonged resuscitation in the days after my birth. It mostly affects my legs however, I have some problems with fine motor control in my arms as well. I also have some related and unrelated internal problems.
I saw your video about it. It was very helpful. I am hoping I don’t have to go to the lab because I don’t think they will like somebody who needs a Hoyer lift in that kind of a place. I don’t think it would be even set up. In a way, I hope it’s a simple as my problems getting sorted out with the CPAP machine. However, I know they are very uncomfortable things and I have seen you struggling with it.
@@anikabaddeleyrollingbackwa7341 I’ve had it for what 6 months and i still struggle . But everyone’s different!! You’ll get it sorted we always do ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I hated writing back in the day . Like i love story telling snd or a topic . What my mom would do / people at school is like i would tell them what to say and they’d write it down. Because even with spell check i still made so many mistakes 😅 1:19
It is so much easier now they have technology. I also love my assistant she has put up with my bad spelling and slo pace of work. I thought I was a plodder in college but I had more support time. I was much less sick or felt it anyway. I had an infection in my bones at college but I was on so many meds I felt better than I do now. . Have had to except that I kind of move on my own time and that is ok. You have helped me realise that with what you do in your vlogs I have always struggled with feelings of being enough. I hate not being in school as it was part of my makeup and identity. I have been so burned out trying to work through the problems of CP I feel I have lost focus on other things .
Yes, it was. I had to take the conversation of other people out of the film so it was the only way of doing it. I am still getting the hang of putting music in things. I wish there was a course you could do.
I shower every other day , unless a situation happens!! And if anyone has any issue with your appearance, shame on them !! What i always say - is do you wanna come over & help me ?? 😂 you’re doing amazing !! Love ya friend ❤
It was so sad. She was an amazing lady. It’s so amazing to you think she was queen for so long. The speech she made about a life of service when she was 21 always spoke to me. I couldn’t help remembering Prince Harry William walking behind there mother. I am old enough to remember that, you would’ve only been a baby I think. I couldn’t help but think that Harvy looked very traumatised at some parts like he wasn’t there in the present but he was back then. That is pure dedication to get up at 6 am by the way! I think you could be Queen of RU-vid. You could still be vloging when you’re 90 or more!
I don’t know if this was just because of the pandemic but - with my most recent chair they came to my house it was a physical Therapist and an ATP and i loved it because they got to see my doors my dining room table ect ect !! Now it’s not the most perfect chair I’ve got but it’s definitely the best one I’ve had in a while. I strongly because that’s because they came to my house & were able to see my environment!! I took delivery of the chair on December 15th , 2020 . So it will be 2 years this coming December!! I don’t know if that’s an option for you to have someone come to see what kinds space you’re working with??
