Omg I was hoping this was the one i was looking for but it’s not 😢 does no one else remember the version where it goes “da da daa da” behind the first verse? Every time i hear this song i expect that to play but none of the versions I have found have it Im sure I have it on a CD somewhere 😂
Everyone here from Warehouse 13. I’m still rewatching it. I love the show. I’m sad I wasn’t old enough to see it when it was released. I don’t remember 2008, I was 3, but it’s still the best tv show of all time. No matter how much time passes, it’s still a great show. ❤ wish they’d do a reboot. The last episode killed me. Sad it’s over.
I used to listen to this song all the time blase when it came out coz I liked it..I didn’t realise I would come to understand this song intimately in my 20/30s..shit relationships&alcohol..
I heard this song not long after I said goodbye to my dog as he walkes across the rainbow bridge. I never had a dog in my entire life. My gf at the time had him and as we started a life together he most definitely became mine. We had numerous other dogs over the years and the last one we had was Winnie. A beautiful 14 year old we rescued from a kill shelter. The sweetest creature but hella crazy 😄 The days I put down Max and Winnie were amongst the darkest I've ever experienced in my life. A deep resounding physical pain that never seemed to have resolved. I still have Winnies collar hanging from the rear view mirror and look at it rubbing her name tag from time to time and find myself being so overwhelmed with emotions of grief, happiness, nostalgia and deep seated memories that I just start to cry. Im happy she was in our lives but so verh difficult to let them go. This is one of the songs that really get me along with "Angels Above Me" by Stick Figure and "Upside Down" by Jack Johnson. The animals we bring into our life are merely little children of love just wanting to discover and spread the bursting joy they have inside of them. We must hold them close and ever full of love as they are not with us for a long time. ❤️
I can’t believe this song only has 39 comments and 195k views. After 7 years, it’s like it’s my own little secret. (It deserves more views and attention)
Saturday evening Saturday evening at a quarter to five I would see him arrive at the door Pushed you aside as he staggered inside Spilling alcohol over the floor A storm is abrewin' and it's sure to fall soon As I look at you from the shore So You better hold on 'Cause it's Saturday night And your friends are all out And you feel like shit 'Cause they never call you No they never call you No they never call Never call Never bloody ever Call me a name and I'll hit you again You're a slut, you're a bitch, you're a whore Talked to your daddy in that tone of voice There's a belt hanging over the door So you run to your room And you hide in your room Thinking how you could settle the score But Saturday night at a quarter to six And your friends are all out And you're live in the sticks Still they never call you No they never call you No they never call Never call Never bloody ever call Blue flashing light last Saturday night Brought the neighbours all out on the street They watched as the firemen carried you out And they stared at each other's feet Now everyone sees and yet nobody says How we're all just afraid of the heat But It's Saturday night And I'm lying alone in the bed that I made Disconnected the phone Still they never call you No they never call you No they never call Never call Never bloody ever call Never bloody ever Never Never do Never do
When it hits me what she's gone I think I'll run for president Get my face put on the million dollar bill So when these rich men that she wants Show her ways they can take care of her I'll have found a way to be there with her still When it hits me that she's gone I think I'll be an astronaut Make the moon my home and leave the earth behind So when eh steps out into the night She'll be facing me every time she shines When it hits me that she's left me alone When I finally move on with my life Her goodbye written into stone And her shadow grown into a night When it hits me that she's gone I think I'll be a movie star Play the finest men the world has ever seen So when these lovers that she's found Show her ways they learned to talk to her Behind each perfect word there'll be a little bit of me
