Nyanring Maduk Yuang Madol from the Nyarweng community of Duk County in Jonglei State of South Sudan 🇸🇸, passed away in Nakuru Kenya 🇰🇪 on July 24, 2024, after learning of her cousin's death. Nyanring's cousin Malok (Malokthii) Lual Yuang Madol died of a heart failure after reportedly complaining of chest pain while at work around 11:30am, in Juba South Sudan 🇸🇸. on July 23, 2024. He was taken to a nearby clinic in Juba where he got first aid before being rushed to Juba Teaching Hospital 🏥 to be admitted at the ICU. Unfortunately, the Dr. at Juba Teaching Hospital pronounced him dead on arrival at 1pm on the same day. Nyanring is survived by her husband, John Akech Dau Achuoth, who currently resides in the United States of America 🇺🇸. She has also left behind 2 beautiful daughters (namely Kuei & Apiok), with the youngest being under 2 years old. This incident sparked a conversation around the culture of breaking news of the death of loved ones on various social media platforms without ascertaining that all relatives have been informed.
A lady from Bor community by the name Yar Kur recently made an expose of how she was swindled $80,000 Australian dollars by two gentlemen from Twic East. In a facebook live video, Yar narrated how the two men (Ayiik Garang & Chol Garang, from Ayual and Dachueek communities, respectively) sweat-talked her into giving them her money and promised to repay the money within 3 months. She also explained that both men blocked her contacts, and her attempts to recover the money have been unsuccessful for approximately 3 years now.

@@ambigjo3900 The girl chose. Go and read up the full article and ask those familiar with the story on ground. I have over 15 tabs open on my computer researching the story. Ultimately SHE CHOSE her first proposal who had the least items on offer. Both families research thoroughly the other and ensure all approved suitors meet the standards set and shelves then makes her choice. She has no problem with it and is happy but you who has no connection to her at all are carrying her water for her. Check your immediate environment to ensure your modern standards are serving you before helping those you don't know cry about their established life long standards that serve them and which they have no problems with.

You don't live in their clime, don't understand their culture, don't relate or know the male female relationship standards or allowance in their very rural community but yet you sit in judgement over something you don't understand just because it doesn't look like what you are used to. Why not look at your own life and the life of those around you and do a research on your own standards and how it's serving you and allow other humans set their own standards? Or do you think because their standards are not written and sponsored by white men it's somehow below par? SHE CHOSE who she wanted to be with and went with the first suitor who had the lowest offer. It's a small community and everyone knows each other and for a woman to have such suitors it speaks to her character and qualities. At the end she choses. It's same as an intelligent young female doctor having as much as five affluent suitors around her work and family background with them offering to build a hospital for her to practice in and she choses one. Only hers is publicised and attracts condemnation from know it alls. Do the research! Understand contexts before rushing into judgements.

I doubt that Dr. Majak has been part of this marriage. Although it seems like he is related to Athiak, I doubt that he partook in the marriage process due to personal reasons (e.g., values and the age of the girl in question). I've not seen him in any of the sittings so far

Just like any of the 64 tribes, the Awulian has several clans that aren't related and can even inter-marry.
