I feel like with the do-it yourself surgery book, he's a general doctor but needs more specialized training for some older people like Lewis and Evelyn and whatever issues others may have. He especially needs to know surgeries bc of us passing out in the mines.
I started a file at the beginning of this video, and at the end, I am at the 17th of spring with 5892g total earnings. Very efficient stuff going on in my file, I assure you.
I feel really bad for this guy, genuinely. Jodi doesn’t seem like a good mother figure, Kentucky left while he was maturing and still needed a dad, and he seems to take care of Vince more than Jodi does.
When I'm planning out a big project like this I try to minimize walk time. So get coffee, a horse, etc to make sure you get places quickly. But also just don't wander if possible. Going back and forth across the whole town takes a long time! But it's also fun to play more chill sometimes too. 😅 If you have specific questions you can leave them here or hop on the discord!
@@Leapalot alright ty I’m new to Stardew and thought I’d do the is it’s just confusing bc for example I’ll fish where u do and also all day till I pass out and u go from lv 2 or 3 to 7 and I go to 4 or 5
@@user-gg7zn8hb1f ah gotcha. Perfect catches give you a huge exp multiplier. So catching fish without them leaving the bar is key to leveling up fishing quickly. But that just takes practice!
@@Leapalotwhile using this unluckily I got to only lv 4 on day 3 instead of 5 honestly idk why I try to get the same lv as you bc your way more experienced at it then me 😅
It has taken me 11 hours to get foraging up to level 9. Grinding out that last level currently. Good luck to you (I started a challenge run on foraging inspired by yours. My next skill I'm thinking will be mining)
You'll want your hardwood for the mushroom logs! They're foraging experience points you can have directly on your farm. I got most of my money by selling gold quality forage and like stacks of wood since I have so much...
Mushroom cave is my go-to because i use automate mod. A bit of pathing and a chest and I don't have to think about it until I'm looking for some shrooms.
Considering how oblivious Emily is to Clint but she flirts with the player does make me wonder if Gus has twisted her view of Clint to keep them apart so Emily remains eye candy he can sell to Clint.
I think it makes sense that when you unlock a new skill, you can still use the previous skills but not sell anything gained from that skill. That would solve the combat/mining issue you were talking about earlier: you could do mining first (just make sure to run away from enemies and not kill any of them), and then once you complete mining you can go into combat while still being able to break rocks to get around. Besides, it seems like the rules of the challenge so far have been mostly defined by experience, and once you get a skill to lvl 10 any experience gained after that won’t make a difference. So I say that sounds like a good plan! If it feels like it’s getting too easy towards the end, you could always change it so you only use the last skill you completed instead of all of them.
I think there's one line of dialogue where George mentions Evelyn's name, at my second egg festival. George said something along the lines of "Evelyn made eggs and leek for breakfast, so I'm in a good mood." while smiling. I don't know if that changes things much. I might've also misremembered, and he could've referred to Evelyn as "wife".
So the scene with Penny and George, here's why most of you are wrong. I've been a CNA for a brief period and it's one of the reasons I'll never be a nurse. Old people like George are like children, and are quick to anger or complaining about life, it's a maturity thing you either develop or lose over time. Yes of course Penny could have just asked George if he wanted to help but in the end she did the right thing, which is why George feels guilty afterwards. Life is all about staying positive and George chose to overreact. There are plenty of other elderly folks who would have easily said, "Oh my, thank you, I might have been here all morning...or after dark :D Thanks!" however in the real world this is a lesson to not become the grouchy old miserable man George has become, his life may not be perfect and the mining accident was a tragedy, but again this is no excuse for poor behavior when someone goes out of their way to make your day better or easier, because at the end of the day, all we have is each other, and way too many people overreact, get angry, and just in general attack others emotionally. These are all excuses we make for people who may be upset, but that isn't our fault. Penny has an alcoholic mother and lives in a trailer, does she choose to be hateful? No. Penny chooses to put her faith in others and chooses a life of positivity, something that is hard to do when all others around you do is complain and make life more difficult by being rude and hateful. Penny did nothing wrong and there's a reason you get friendship points by saying that was a nice thing you did and don't lose any friendship points with George over this trivial matter. Best wishes to everyone, and I hope this makes sense, because again, if we don't even have faith in each other, what's the point of trying to improve or make the world we live in a better place?
Honestly, Kent's one of my favorite characters. I give him jam and pickles twice a week, and he's always appreciative. I personally assumed that Kent is having trouble adjusting to the peace and quiet of Pelican Town, and I think after a war, it would make anyone antsy. Also, Kent has a tendency to stand with his back to the tree behind his house, where there isn't a chance to sneak up on him, which I always kept in the back of my mind. He also sits in his house, right next to the door, where he can keep an eye on his wife and his two children's bedrooms.
I can't see this working the way you describe it. Foraging is next, but that will be in winter, so your only option is to grow winter seeds, if you can get them without the community centre. I dont think your basic foragables will cut it. Also, how are you going to do combat? You'll never get enough money from drops. Maybe only allow income from animals and not crops
For me the baitmaker is a great combo with bullheads in the beginning. In my experience getting a perfect catch on a bullhead is a lot easier than on a largemouth bass, so you'll hand in a bit of money for a lot more XP. In the long run it may even give more money if you hit level 10 earlier now.
There are organized mafias that steal sand from beaches to sell to other countries. There's a different videos on youtube about "illegal sand mining". It's kind of interesting.
"Getting into banks to do exams". I spent my working life (after college) working for banks. I was in the department that monitored that the bank was in compliance with federal law related to mortgages, but also I had to file the reports that showed the bank had an adequate assets to cover all their liabilities (because everyone else weasled out of filing the reports). Luckily for that bank I was competent, and able to pass the background test to be able to work in government databases.
The greenhouse on the Jojo mart form, as it relates to farming. Mine carts and/or quarry for mining, Panning for foraging, Bus for fishing but it has no relationship just what is left. combat 10 to go to Ginger island.
I would do it a bit differently: Greenhouse = farming Minecarts = mining Bus = combat Quarry = foraging Panning = fishing Friendship = ??? Though I think it might be good idea to offset them, so instead of unlocking the thing that relates to what you just did, you unlock the thing that’s going to help you out for the next one. So for example, if you finish farming you might unlock the minecart next to help you with mining. Or, once you finish mining, you unlock the bus so you can go do combat against the tough enemies in skull caverns.
