I didn't touch the map for months. Glad I managed to finish it up. Yes we know the tool. But this is a crazy was to break things. And protected zones too. Or if you mean the mod then fill with L in normal game.. that is a game changer for testing and making videos.
@@Phys1csGamez Except for rotating the selection and random fill, I'm pretty sure that you can do all of that with the block replace tool. In fact, on that last community stream we all did with Kraken, I built that base using it. Which means that I both replaced blocks with air and air with blocks...in a live game. I certainly didn't lay them all down by hand. I'm not sure what you mean by "protected zones" though so I'm a little confused.
By protected I mean the protected traders. You can highlight sections there and destroy them. I do know the tool does it all. I just share everything I ever find out about the game and I certainly did not know this would happen.
In order to get the glass jars you need to go back in time around 2 years and play Alpha 20. This video is 2 years old. And Alpha 20 was the last time they were in game.
Ok that is great. I guess they just wanted the raffle to be stable so proper testing could be done for random gen. You just can't have people creating thousands of maps in console with loads of written unused data lying around.
I will be running a server with the map on next Saturday. You are welcome to try it out if you like. Nothing is required to install to run. There if you want to dabble in the PvP side of things. Looking forward to getting the time to make the lounge next :)
I died on horde night to one. I loaded its head with a full clip from the AK 47 and it still killed me when I had to reload it and it still survived lol
Today I encountered a problem. I transferred my base from the old world to the new one. I filled all the boxes with loot and only then discovered that I am not their owner. I also can't pick up workbenches, switches, etc... Is there a way to make myself the owner of these blocks without deleting and placing them again? Thank you in advance for your response.
@@Phys1csGamez All these storage chests, workbenches, cement mixers, forges, etc., were moved through the world editor. In my world, they simply don't have an owner. That's why, even with a claim block installed, I can't fully interact with them. And I was wrong about the switches, I can take them, but I still can't take solar panels, generators, and battery blocks. Is it really necessary to create a mod for this if it can't be done with standard tools?
@@DanzoX25 No idea what is going on. I would just spawn in an admin smg and get rid of them and then give myself replicas through the creative menu. Then place a landclaim down, place the work stations down and get on with the game.
@@Phys1csGamez I distributed loot across 60 steel boxes. I also have 6 workbenches, 6 forges, 8 cement mixers, 6 campfires, and 4 chemistry stations. I put resources to smelt in my forges and after all that, I discovered this problem. Honestly, it's a huge hassle to take all the loot out of the boxes and put it back. And to place all the stations back... Alright, I understand. Thank you for your responses.
@@DanzoX25 Sorry I didn't fully understand the whole resource issue here. You can't fill boxes or keep smelted resources in any POI. You can only transfer blocks and items such as the workbench or box itself. The games does not store their contents in a prefab. Everything in a box is a random roll and a storage box you have placed will it always be empty.
Any chance there are a way to use a real time prefab copy paste on our own server while ingame? Or fill/ copy / paste. Bcm had it a couple of years ago. (dll file i think it was) It was amazing.
Someone put this out on NexusMods the other day and it should do the job. Yet you have to check the server will run dlls and it will need to be on the client too. Not sure as I have not tried it on my server yet. EAC must be off. www.nexusmods.com/7daystodie/mods/5606

@@wombyte452 Sorry I missed the part when you said you get the min and max tiles to zero. Are you doing this in the corrected section? Are you trying to make a map that is very big? These are the things that can break the game. In the end this certainly does still work for A21. You are always welcome in the discord if you need support.
10:00 Quick Question: Is there a better way to save those maps? Because hitting the back button, saving it with "Okay" then going back into the random world generator and having to setup all of those settings all over again with a different worldseed is very tedious and time-consuming. I liked the ones from Alpha 21 and before where, every generated world you made was "Automatically" saved without "Manually" saving or clicking on an option or hitting the back button to do so...That can be very annoying. Other than that, this is a great video to understand how each works (Even the checkerboard patten on some spots I had no idea those was player spawn points, whether they started a new game or died and do not have a bedroll placed somewhere).
"Other than that"...lol. I don't make the game so it is not my decision to change this :) I like the change! It stops a load of maps being saved when you are generating a load of maps to get the one you want. Yet not saving the options is very annoying. I will try to look into making a mod that changes the the default settings when you run the mod!
@@Phys1csGamez (Sighs) I know you heuh....I know you didn't make the game, but for me it saved me a lot of time of generating maps. And if you didn't make a map or generated it by mistake, I can easily go to the appdata, roaming, 7daystodie, Generated Maps, and delete them from there. BUt when V1.0 came out, not only the controls were tough to get used to, but generating maps and not being able to save them felt really off. The options for it were great, just not the part where saving the maps was constantly clicking back and fourth between them. If you do make a mod for it, I'd gladly take it but take your time though with creating one if it'll take a while to modify it and throw it into my appdata mods folder.
You don't. On my Xbox I can use my keyboard to play the game and in the keyboard settings it says to press Q to go into God Mode. Yet it does not work.
GAH! They creeps me the hell out! However, they look so much like Fluffy from COD Level 5 shotgun with AP rounds can kill them in 3-4 shots more or less
Stupid things are absolute tanks. Two came flying out of a shed while I was clearing a wandering horde. Shotgun broke killing the first one and I was forced to spend 20 minutes on a high wall with a bow to finish.
They are certainly late game weapon beasts that can ruin your day early game. I am going to have to remember to craft more arrows that I normally do... just in case.
A good name for this blood thirsty beast as that is certainly what is it. I am building my animal taming box by every base I make from now on. You are in the draw. Enjoy your game!

My group ran into a pack while I was offline and wouldn't stop talking about how bad it got. I thought they were just being dramatic until seeing this.
Had just cleared out my first infestation in the Burnt Forest. Breathing easy and hacking away at the loot crates. The sound must have caught the attention of what I thought was a dog pack. They start chewing at the metal door. No worries thinks I... Until I see the face of not one... not two. But THREE dire wolves in the rabidly expanding hole. The sound I made was rather unseemly.
This is awesome. Just wish I could figure out how to add this to my Blue Fang Solutions server. don't know how to adjust mountains and hills and all that stuff. Great work though. Love this mod on personal play.
I never get my server to make a map. I just make it on my own machine and upload it to the server. I don't use Blue Fang so have no idea if you can or how to with their system. Enjoy your game :)

Love your work, and glad you’re back. I wanted to ask can you come up with a way to adjust the damage of the weapons? Or perhaps do a tutorial video on how to change the weapons damage within a character’s backpack or tool belt? My problem was I have a very powerful tier, 5 sniper rifle, but my tier 6 sniper rifle is way less powerful. And I experimented with the creative menu and I made over 100 tier six sniper rifles, and none of them came close to being as powerful as the tier 5. Any thoughts, direction or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again and all the best.
The damage of any weapon is set by a range of values. So always check the next tier up weapon is actually better. Your tier 5 may have had mods on it. Any mod you can add increases the weapon damage. Make sure you are comparing them with no mods and I would guess 50% of the tier 6s you make should be better than the very best tier 5. I can certainly do a video on this - would be in at least a couple of weeks time though. Maybe I could make the mod at some point and then do a video on how to edit the values to the ones you prefer!?
@@Phys1csGamez hey, thank you for getting back to me; yes, the comparison was with tier 5 and tier 6 sniper rifles, and neither of them had mods in them. And you would absolutely think that creating 100+ tier 6 sniper rifles should’ve generated as many higher damage rates as the tier 5 and with as many damage rates, that would be lower than the tier 5. But that’s not the case at all. The tier 5 sniper rifle has the damage of 133.1, while the highest I could craft with the tier 6 legendary was 126.9 damage. That being said, if you have time to whip a mod together to do that, that could change the damage of a weapon, that would be amazing. However, I will totally understand if it takes a couple of weeks to put a video together, but that would also be amazing, and would be also greatly appreciated. Which ever you are able to do. Thank you so much for your time; the modding community is very cool, but I’m just a little bit in over my head when it comes to actual coding. I just don’t even know where to start, really.
Not sure Blood Moons was a good call. Dead by Daylight meets 7dtd, but what it tells us is that instead of working on the main game, they had a side games going which is a little sad. And Blood Moons has detailed POIs that 7dtd doesnt which is even more sad. sigh.
We can only wait and see. I do think they will have enough people to make other games. I would expect they are already working on a sequel to the main game.

It's like in the old days meeting a bear on day one. For some reason on Xbox, two of us playing, we had a Dire Wolf on the day 14 horde. Nice MOD, I hate the locks showing like they do, I shall have to get that one for when I play on PC. Thank you, always interesting stuff.
