I hope you enjoy my remixes of Mono to Stereo records. I DO NOT USE karaoke tracks. All of the stereo remixed songs contain music only from the original song or sessions. I will also add new remixed stereo versions of songs not easily available elsewhere. I will also upload rare songs that are not readily available anywhere else. There will also be the occasional movie clip of places I have been or may be of interest :-) The method I use is called DCS (Digitally Constructed Stereo). There are various ways to do it & it is too difficult to explain easily. Nowadays there is software that can make very realistic stereo mixes from mono in DES (Digitally Extracted Stereo). Please view Christopher Kissel's wonderful site for more information. To find out more about spectral editing, go to www.monotostereo.info/
Once again I'm amazed how this song was not released as a single. I realize this may have occurred overseas. I was disappointed after "Try too Hard" with the songs they chose to release as singles in the U.S. especially after hearing some of the songs that were considered album cuts as this one was.
Gerd
I was a little girl when this came out. My parents, aunts, and uncles loved this record. So you know we loved it too, because they'd want us to dance the twist or the chicken and would pay us a quarter. We were their entertainment. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
@@Monotostereoking Hmm. OK. Why not give them the true stereo version from the LP? I notice that all mono to stereo conversions bring the vocals forward and the instrumental track is lower in volume.
@@Hughesmedia1 I was asked to do the version without the orchestra in stereo, so now there are two stereo versions. One with, one without. As for bringing the vocals forward, I can't speak for the many poor unfinished so called DES, but I rarely alter the vocals. Thanks for your thoughts.
I finally saw the Maestro he only played 12 songs he opened for the Dobbie Brothers on Agust 2nd at #jiffylubelive and he closed the show with this song that his group came up in 1966 the year I was born
I love the part where he was supposed to come in second, but he jumped in, and she said “ you ‘re in my spot again, honey“! It sounds like he kept doing that during rehearsals lol. Instead of them redoing the song, they kept it in there and it’s classic!
