I only saw one of these motors, and saw it on the water once. It was an Evinrude and given as a retirement present. Don’t remember the hull it sat on, but I’m pretty sure it’s still sitting in the same garage. One day, I will buy it.

To answer your question yes it will he lost any drive ability under 40% throttle so he can't really drive only launch its all or nothing, not to mention the fact running that rich will wash the cylinder walls and cause scarring, I would not recommend this on any street car a wot box is better for a street application
Toss that overweight dinosaur overboard, get a 250xs with solid mounts. 1:25 mota shake'n much? Soon as he's off the throttle it de-trims itself. PLUS....No hotfoot throttle, both hands on the wheel hotshot.
I stumble up on this boat 6 video's ago and still cant get enough of it. The Hudson river runs are my favorite, This thing is a beast. Can anyone tell me the top speed on this and Horse Power? The sound is just sweet music.....for real.
