Ciao Guys! My name is Mattia and I love the drum world, I'll be sharing content about this wonderful instrument, so if you're interested hang out on my channel and look around :)
Yeah, bro, I watched your video first on Charles Wilcoxon doing his 150th snare solo. I was like okay he can play this solo perfect but I want to hear his drumming and I have to say it translates very well. You’re a fantastic player with groove too. I’m getting lessons again, and I have my teacher taking me through the whole book. It’s been pretty crazy but I know it’s gonna help with my playing heaps. Cheers mate
@@davis9981 That’s awesome man, It’s a great book to build some hands technique, I personally find it a little hard to apply it on the drum kit but definitely a must for a drummer 🥁
Nicely done - the kit seems to handle nuance on snare and cymbals easily. I was wondering if you would include some cross-stick on the snare to see if/how naturally that could be accomplished. I've read that the triple-trigger zone snare can discern that technique and switch to the appropriate voice. Thanks for posting.
Hey there! Thanks for your comment. The snare handles cross-stick very well, you can check some of my videos to get an idea. Like this one is a good example: Reggaeish 🥁 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Gvl9LnikUkM.html Let me know what you think!
What I did I got the DW 6000 hihat stand , the regular one the ultralight is not the best. Luckily, my friend at the Drum shop really hooked me up with the better high hat stand.
Why are they out of business their pads are a hit got both pads the one with the silicone rubber and the laminate version my favorite is the silicone one because its super bouncy when you hit it with a stick they gotta be back in business
I'm super new to drumming, 2 questions if you don't mind answering 1. What is that little hi hat snare thing you do at 3 seconds? Is that just double strokes back and forth between the hi hat and snare? 2. What is the sticking pattern for that thing at 8 seconds? The triplet fill at the end sounds so cool and I've never really tried anything like that. This sounds super cool to me, subscribed!
Hi there! Welcome to the drum world :) 1 - Yes is just a simple double stroke 2 - It's a paradiddle (RLRRLRLL) played in triplets. Happy to hear you like it, definitely give it a try ;) 3 - If you're interested I offer online drum lessons, I'll leave you my link ( tl.page/mattia-c1 ) Wish you a wonderful day!
