Why does everyone make this sound super hard and remove the intercooler and such? This looks super easy. I was dreading doing this until I watched this video.
Free tip for anyone doing this the first time and having the bolt at the bottom. Just use an air chisel and punch either cut the chain that holds the two sides of the clamp together or use the punch to drive the vband around to get access. USE A REPLACEMENT VBAND to mount the new turbos and wallla.
Wish i would've found this before buying new HPFP's for this issue! On a related note though, have you tried the cam followers from Kota Performance? I would like to go ahead and replace mine while doing the pumps, but OE seem overpriced and difficult to come by!
Nice install bud. I'm are taking on the SRM1000 kit at my shop. Bro super happy you went over the fuel routing lol... I seen all the bag that came with it and was like wtf Sean want me to do lol❤., I'm currently recording a long form walk throught for diyers out there. I'll dm you I got and idea 💡
I just rebuilt my a4 b8 2.0 tfsi and it's running good. However, I seen a totaled s8 for for sale with good drive train. Its a v10 na. Do you know how difficult a swap would be or if it even fits in the a4? I think the b8 4.2 v8 would fit. if I have the complete car I can change the entire engine harness and ecu, trans and tcm. I'm fairly new to audi, so I'm not sure about the security system. Would I need to swap the ignition switch and comfort control module to match the immo of the s8 ecu? I'm lost when it comes to coding. I could do it with enough research but I don't have the knowledge without a "walk through".
Too bad it wasn't a classic with real displacement. Then you could have done the very same manuever without even touching your brakes. Nice grocery getter
Hey bro question about your gintani e60 m5??! When you first went on E did you notice your actual motor get louder like if you can hear the E flowing through the motor??!
