I agree with you. For me killing a fighter looks like giving birth, its too damn hard, you have to be too careful cause he can kill you in 5 hits or less and he have ~1200 health (rougue~600). To kill one of those i need to play like a bitch running, healing and petrifying him, that's kinda lame. But apart from that his pve is too damn good
What are you talking about man. Your crossbow hits almost as hard as the pyromages fireblast. If you could break block with daggers it would be so OP. The rogue is just hard to use against skilled players. All games I've ever played stealth characters fall off when it comes to skilled opponents and dominates against those who are not. Not to mention rogues are OP in team fights with back stabs and able to freeze a enemy for quite some time while you double team his partner.
Brother the problem is that the crossbow is the crutch. It's a ROGUE class not a sniper, not a ranger. Also why would it be OP to be able to break block? It's literally the only gimped line of weapons in the game. It's clear they need to work on their class definition and specific roles for each class. I shouldn't have less HP than a cryo/pyro/priest. They're literally all cloth wearers and rogue is leather. Yet gets pummelled by all mage classes.
How the fuck did u weapon swap and block at the same milisecond at 08:20 ? I literally hold the right click to block after AA and the game says fuck you I won't do what you say and literally nothing happens.
All these doomer comments from bad players is wild lol. They announced this morning that there is a change coming to life on it soon. The class balance in this game is pretty good compared to other pvp games, just get good.
Rogue meta is double One Handed Swords,Daggers are just too weak and better suited for PvE. Petrify Poison needs a nerf tho,it last too damn long and if it's a duo Rogue they just back to back Petrify you and you cant do anything about it,one is hitting you with an Incidiary on your feet,the other with the Thunder potion and if they are playing with the STR passive too and Tiny Torment they just bleed you to death. Takes no technical skill,little to no outplay potential and they simply kite you to death with their superior movement speed. The stats speak for themselves,Rogues are among the highest units for extraction success rate so wanting to excell in 1v1's you are just asking for too much,like you must be forgetting what the core gameplay loop even is.
Ye i stopped playing db solo and play only rarely duo with a friend, cause there rogue is not entirely useless. This game is not worth playing right now. And i think many things of the game is made by AI. Like the stats on the items for example. They are completely nonsense. And some green stats are better than blue and some blues are better than other blues and some stats are actually the same and so on. Many AI created games release these days. People need to realise, most have no clue. And all classes need nerfs. Remove wallhack and aimpunches. And highest slow in the game should be 30%. And rog should have 30% slow for 3 second on every hit. And true invis. And teleport to the back of enemies and 3 sec movement speed increase on Q. Stealth should be unbreakable for the first three seconds. All poison shouldnt be canceled through blocking. Petrify should be removed or made unbreakable. Poison damage tick should be able to crit. Dagger should break shield. Charge attack and backstab should always hit with both daggers. Passive requirement of movementspeed in invis should be lowered. All invis abilities should be merged into one instant invis with 10 sec duration. And maybe one with 30 sec duration with cast time for pve only players. After all these changes and more and nerfs of other classes, every class should on top deal like 40% less damage. So suprise attacks wont finish the fight and players can still turn the fights with enough skill. Fights will last longer and skill wins more often. If they balance the classes ofc. Like sm sword throw and pyro fireball need damage nerf alot and sm damage reduction needs to ne reduced from 50% to 20%. And healing on flying swords needs to be removed. And sm shouldnt need real swords to use ability, they should created magical swords amd do always the same amount of damage and have a free inventory. Its ridiculous. And all abilities should deal like 30% - 40% dmg if max health. But right now most classes abilities kill you or bring you down to 20% hp, except for rogue, his ability does like 15% health damage and is the only single target damage ability on top of it. Its pure mockery at this point. And can be cancelled through a block. Where other classes abilities still continue when blocking. I could go on forever. This game is one of the worst pvp games ive ever played. It has much potential tho. But i have no hope after ive seen their changes. Like i said its made by mindless bot humans and AI.

Good content man. Unfortunately, I've never seen a game get so solved and so stale so fast. Abusing life on hit is the most boring meta I've ever seen. Cyros, dks, and sms everywhere. Combined with the beyond broken match making, lobbies letting people with full gear shit on noobs (no interest in anything other than ruining other people's experience), and the rampant RMT and duping at all high level.... yeeeahhh the devs need to announce what they are doing ASAP or I'm probably done

daggers are bad for main weapon two sword do more damage that backstab and the crossbow is a multiclass chase and kill thing when only the rogue would take a real advantage in any game here every class can use it and do over 250 damage trow a flask and star a fight to win 90% of the time if u are looting or killng a mob
not mentionin the meta of sm crossbow flask and 4 swords launched at u or anyone and go invisible for like 5 minutes in one spot with corunching while rogue need is e or kill and make sound to activate it
rogue average crit damage is 200% + 50%(not sure about the number but i think it is 50) from invis. Plus hitting from invis is 100% critical hit and deals same damage head or body
Realistically rogue not bad but if against cryo close range theres literally no way of you winning.Only change i would do to rogue is its charge attack the range it covers is bad dmg is crazy low and cant even guardbreak probably fix one of this 3 stats. Then rogue would be playable.But gameplay wise guardbreak would be op so imo higering the dash range would fix it so good bc think it this way a guy is blocking you at u in front if range was good you can dash near behind enemy so its 50 50 for enemy to guess which side of them u gonna dash to try backstab them + this way rogues can easily get out of cryos or dks kill zone range

@@unpolished6296 rogue is good as a ranger class, close range it gets folded real fast. The only real class it counters is itself. I like the rogue outplay if it’s possible but in many cases I need to play at such a high level to just kill a grey geared sword master or cryo or pyro or any other class. Because daggers also don’t break block I can lose a fight to a priest
@@Kingheedbon I heard double swords is better for pvp, and a must have to stand a chance against cryo. With cryo you have to out dps them and kill them fast, only viable strategy. You lose a bit of pve capability with double swords instead of daggers, but if you only use the charged heavy dual sword attacks for pve then it is only marginally worse than backstabs. Heavy attack for dual swords works against shields too. Need to try it out some more myself but dual swords and crossbows seems to be the move for rogue.
Yeah double swords is better as it can break shield blocks, As daggers don't allow for the shield break. However you do lose out on the backstab potential as it is not possible. Back stab allows for catching those just out of reach and it happens more than you'd probably expect. I've tried both styles and dual sword is superior for that pvp dps but it has plenty of downsides on a squishy class like rogue.

confirmed this does not work as of 7/30/24 on official servers. The boss has an electricity blast that hits you anywhere in that room. It is very powerful btw. Steel gear 4500 hps and it nearly 1 shots you. This may have worked prior to the last big free update or on modded server but on official it is a nogo.
If you plan on going classic mode and plan on going solo, You can play around a global exit on the map and just kill in the rooms near that exit until you become comfortable to play in those kind of lobbies. If you plan on going duos/trios it comes down to your team comp mostly. You will need to be prepared for druids esp and cryos life on hit builds so you would need to try and play at distance for those comps (this is also purely based on your comp so hard to say for certain). Me and my team play very aggressive in most lobbies to make sure we have control of the fights. Just bring plenty of heals and a stack of shields, thunderclaps and firebombs for the door pushes. I hope this helps a little
they should remove the esp and just add something like druid in cat form can sense enemy that are 20m away, giving them a on screen effect when players are nearby maybe even giving a general direction

The passive should stay but it only should track that people who are not full life. So people can engage on them, and if they are low Druid can track them
Cryo is strong yeah but it's nothing compared to the wall-hacking and never dying druid before nerf lol. Also cryo can die vs a good death knight player. A druid could always just run from them. I kinda think sword master is better at high levels
Brother man the druid esp is fucking wildin, the devs are on some special sauce making the druids with esp and now they still have esp but not as good however they increased their damage... it's like what is going on in their heads with this stuff. Sword master is in a good spot but does need tweaking, rogue is a firepit of sadness and having to play at wild levels to just even compete against green geared any class.

idk man druid could see things through walls and avoid them etc... but the cryo will just literally walk through the lobby killing everyone in their path. also cryo counters DK
