The Kanawha used to be an AWESOME flathead fishery. That is until all the You Tube wanna be "stars" started showcasing it. I know no one means any harm. Everyone just wants some recognition I guess? Problem is...This attracts those who do not catch and release...sportsman. This attracts the likes of James Reed types and his cronies!
really just depends on where you're at on the river...it has nothing to do with overfishing in a river as big as the kanawha, it's more about pollution and where the fish go to avoid it.
Thanks for watching, they stocked gold trout last week and I was trying to catch one lol , no trout but was a fun day especially 2nd cast with Joe fly and got a bass
I’d go more off the beaten path on public.. got to go deeper or even up higher on the ridge top.. usually bucks will make scrapes on those hill tops and bed on the side of those ridges with the wind at there back.. just my suggestion.. happy hunting
Hello thanks for watching, I was mostly trying out my new saddle that day but yes I usually hunt farther out, sometimes at that place someone will push a few across that field , there was a path right next to me , didn't happen that day lol but had fun with saddle
Good ole bluegill. The standby fish. I can catch them when I can't catch anything else. As a matter of fact, I think they fight for the privilege to be on my hook. Anyway, one thing I like almost as well as fishing is watching someone else fish. Love these videos. Keep them coming.
Years ago not sure when , state record blue cat came from there , not sure how it got there maybe flooding and one got in there or someone put it in there , I heard a guy day yesterday he caught a catfish not sure size
