The Tech on "New" cars wouldn't be a problem if they still kept each electrical system on a single circuit. When your radio acts up your windshield wipers shouldn't quit working. Everything is now stupidly passed through the stereo system. Even stuff like traction control and ABS. It's "BLING" and nothing else. And it is NOT the best Tech, nor the way to wire a car. Or anything for that matter. Overcomplicating things so you must return to the dealership to get "anything" fixed. Every time you have a part replaced, the ECM has to be reset and recalibrated. Even for spark plugs? Yep. And every car company is now doing this. God forbid they give us a car with better MPG which hasn't changed since the late 90's when fuel injection was introduced w/OBD II.
Air GT Owner, From Texas, and you need additional ceramic tint on the glass roof. Even with all that, last summer was hard to deal with. I bought the Lucid roof inserts for the that addition level of sun blockage, and has an added benefit of creating an insulation barrier during the winter time. Your video seemed to be more of a highlight of features rather than an actual review....maybe that is just your style. You did fall into the trap of pushing the power and speed over range. Yet every single person looking to get into an EV the first thing they ask is "what is the range"? Yet for some unknown reason power and speed is all anyone can talk about. I bought my Air GT because of the Range, and I consistantly get 470 miles. I don't drive to zero, but I do get 450 miles of actual driving, and charge up with 20 miles left of charge. Luxury, Styling, Ride and Exclusiveness is the other reasons I got this car. In my section of Far East Dallas county, there is only 3 Lucid's. A Dream edition and 2 Air GT's. I get asked all the time about the car, and people pointing at it and taking pictures / videos. It's not a perfect car, and there are plenty of things the engineers didn't get right. But for the most part with the OTA updates, thing are getting better. If you plan on getting a Lucid, and you want to get the added range by installing the 19" wheels, make sure to ask about this when you order the car or if you visit a local showroom. They will configure the car to work with the 21" wheels along with the 19" wheels. However, if you do not take advantage of this free option, and wait, it will cost you over $5K if you want to do it later. Lucid's Customer service is top notch. Service techs come out to your home and work on it. Should the car require more extensive work, they will send a covered trailer out to your home and ship it to the closest service center at their cost, and even pay for you to rent a car. Lucid's customer service call center is amazing too, open 24 hours a day to schedule work, answer questions or take suggestions. Hopefully I have provided your viewers with some helpful info that will make the experience of owning a Lucid even better. Good Luck!
Drove this truck today. Incredible 3.0 diesel - best thing! Interior is meticulously crafted, well done. Seats are short/not deep, however. If you’re tall, these seats aren’t for you (I’m 6’3”). Moon roof is a miss - GM doesn’t get it yet…epic fail. Drives well, great road truck. Not for off road, just your city driver, get thru a few inches of snow or up a hill here and there. The 22’ wheels are not ideal - they’ll get scratched up easily - stick with 20s so you have tire options. Tailgate is cool, no one at the dealer knows how to work the sound system, however. Great $70k truck…
Just purchased a 2021 E450 Wagon fully loaded. I love wagons and don't know why the US always moves to SUVs. The cargo space is as big and the ride is superior to most SUVs. I was considering the e63 but just couldn't justify the added cost even in the used market. I did notice several e63s with low mileage. Maybe my next purchase or if someone makes me a super deal on a 3-4 year old model. I understand MBZ is removing the wagons from US deliveries in 2030. I hope to replace my 2021 with a 2028 to a 2030 model. Nice review.
It's not really a CVT it's 10-speed auto, and to be more specific, transmission is like 2 in 1 first 4 speeds are like traditional auto, and other 6 are cvt, but to be honest, you rarely need more than 5 or 6 speeds)

Thank you! My 2016 S550 was declared totaled today and tomorrow I'm buying a 2018 S450 to replace it. I love the power of the 550 but its way more than I need. I think the 450 is a little bit more nimble and without giving up much power - I'm excited.
