So glad I came across your videos! I’m preparing to install micro locs on my 6 year old baby girl. Her hair is very similar to your daughters. She is extremely tender headed so it will be a task for install but I know it will be well worth it in the end. Current hair wash/styling days have me about to pull my locs out.
46 here and went through that massive shedding and hair thinning in 2017/18 - major depressing. Biotin helped some but it’s still noticeable. I just found out my iron is low so I’m taking supplements too - I’ll take the grays over the thinning any day!
omg i havent seen you in so long. could it be from covid? i have been hearing it caused hair loss but i didn't get it until my hair started shedding bad after i got covid. But your hair is beautiful.
Girl, I’m glad you are back to making videos again. I’ve missed you. These peri menopausal hormonal changes are something else, aren’t they? You’re a few years behind me. I’ve been dealing with them for a minute. I hope the iron helps with the hair loss.
We need more black mothers like you Queen I am so amazed at how you confidently talk about your daughter's hair care and embrace what she wants to do with her hair as well as how you congratulate her even by talking about her track goals. Thank you for the video and keep being phenomenal. This is taught me a lot about micro locking and I know more in order to start my own. My only question is after you've locked them is there a way to unlock them at some point if you don't want to stay dreaded per se?
