I sold them because they kept flipping off my feet. I think it’s the way the strap is made. It’s a longer strap, but the length I needed was the size that I bought. They have since then come out with another design that has a shorter strap.
I just received a fake bottle from eBay. The outer packaging is 98% identical to the original. It has a QR code and a batch number. Even the sticker on the bottle is 99% accurate, including the “J”! It smells 20% like BR540 and 80% alcohol in the opening but then gives a sweet licorice scent for about 5 mins then it fades away.
You can also tell on the bottle label, the font on "Rouge" is clearer/crisper then the fake. Im curious how much difference in smell and longevity is the fake from the real? Ive had dupes, knowing they were, that just dont have the same "lingering" smell as the real stuff
Thank you for this video. I was about to purchase a bottle from a reseller and he refused to show me pictures of the box so that I could look for these little differences… 🚩. I stopped communication immediately and just purchased from the department store.
Hi hun I don’t wear sunglasses but I need one for my prescription glasses. I was thinking of the woody but it seems not as much fool proof. This seems more better? I hate I have to wear prescription glasses and sunnies. I’m looking for nice glasses holder.
Tonight I wish I would have seen all these signs before I bought a Fake. I’m really upset! I’ve been buying from the same perfume store for years and have never had issues with fake perfumes. I bought a 2.4oz bottle for $280 almost $300 after taxes. But the “j” is not sharp is has a curve and the outter box has the www. And the label on the bottle, the lettering is thick and jumbled together almost to the point where you can’t even make out the name and the Ed eu perfume is crooked. I will be going back first thing in the morning and asking for my money back! I know they don’t except returns or exchanges once open! But I don’t care!!!when it comes to a fake and not authentic products that I’m spending my hard earned money on!!!! I will fight to get what I want. Definitely not good for business!!!!!
I got the nude ones, and I was told to go a size down, I did and they do fit perfect on the heels but the toe box is super tight and it kinda create a weird folds on the outside...Is that normal?
Hi Angie, I have learned to size these personally from my foot size. I have long slender feet, but my toes are wide. I went a half size up to accommodate the toe box being too tight. I think if they fit you and don’t flip off the back, once you break them in the leather will conform to your toes. But yes. Due to the style mine crease a little in the same area too. Hope this helps.
@@jeanne1019 so so true. They are perfect because I want to wear them whenever and the 100mm I would only wear on special occasions. SA said she owns 85mm only.
Folks just spend the money and save yourself the hassle of trying to figure out if you got a fake. Stop buying from 3rd parties and go to reputable stores. If you are complaining about the price point, then you shouldn't probably be wearing it in the first place.
Oh no!!! Yes, ebay can be sketchy. I’ve found authentic on eBay, but so hard to tell. I recommend The MF site directly if you have time to wait from Over seas. Also, neiman Marcus or Arielle Shoshana if you like to use Klarna or Afterpay
I recently bought a speedy 30 from the LV store near me. One thing I noticed is that the actual bag does not show where it's made although it does have the date code. I called the LV customer service and to get additional information and to give my mind a rest. I do have to mention that the store had to place an order for the speedy 30 because they ran out. The lady on the phone told me that if it does not have the country where it's made, we can assume that it's made in the USA. Any thoughts on this?
Anne Marquez hi there! That is true esp with the speedy. I’ve had three of them and two were made in the USA. They didn’t have the country of production anywhere on or in the bag either except for the SD portion of the date code, which does indicate USA made. Hope this helps. I will say, I’ve never had any other lvt bag other than the speedy that didn’t have the made in tab or stamp somewhere in the bag.
I spilled a 1/2 bottle of Coke Zero in mine on an airplane😳. Thankfully. No stains. Maybe a slight shadow of a stain inside. But the soda just puddled to one Corning until I for napkins. Then everything was fine. Lol. My first LV, I spill soda in it in the first week.
Thank you for sharing, you did an awesome job of comparing the two.I was bless enough to bid on EBAY and won the bidding for the old one. ( In 9 to 10 shapes ) I personally love the old one better, becouse you seem to get more for your bucks and made better.I also agree I love the old models handle. Plus the rings are stamps . Beautiful bag and yes it's very hard to finds, I waited and waited for about 2 plus years, to find one in next to excellent shape.
