I had a friend who worked at the CBC. She got my best friend and I free front row seats to the Air Farce. The guest celebrity was Herald from the Red Green show. So long ago I can’t recall the victim, but the cannon had maple syrup, baked beans, some sort of cereal, cheese whiz and lord knows what else. It was an enlightening and slightly sticky experience! 🇨🇦🖖🏻🇨🇦
At one point during the original segment, one of the ratings that popped up said "BS". While it was up, John said "When you see this rating, it means that a politician is about to make a speech."😁
well of course he'd mention Teletoon he's provided voice work for shows that aired on the network (almost a year and it still hurts) also I think Looney Tunes Back in Action answered that question
Remember watching this at home when I was a youngster, It would come on later at one point and I would be in bed and watching this. But I remember Dave Broadfoots voice it was so discernable and I knew who it was as soon as I heard his voice!!
Wendy: "Mike, what do you think of the Canadian Dollar?" Mike: "I like it. It's round, and it has picture of loon on one side and a bird on the other." VICIOUS!!!!!🤣
I miss Air Farce! I met Don, Roger, and Luba in Brandon, Manitoba on April 4, 2003. Does anyone know if all the episodes are available on dvd or to watch online somewhere?
Oddly enough, around 1916-17, the 228th Battalion from Toronto actually had a team in the NHA. They did pretty well during the first part of the season, but they had to pull out of the league once their unit was called overseas to fight.
The first PC in 10 years who does not have a criminal record. Sometimes youtube algorythms are unintentionally satirical. We'll just wait and see I guess.
This show was almost never funny, just offensive and insulting to Canada. Even watching it as a kid who had emmigrated to this country, I would cringe. This is the best country on earth, but they would consistently knock it down. It is possible to knock something down cleverly and lovingly (like in a roast), but the horrible writers on this show never knew how to do that.
This proves you haven’t adapted to Canadian culture. We love to make fun of ourselves. I agree that we live in a great country. These remarks are unserious. You aren’t really Canadian if you can’t make fun of yourself and Canada. I do appreciate the pride you have in your country, we need more of it!
