Hey, when he got to the 7th chords his first example was c7 to g7 all the way to the next c in scale or was it something else? My ear heard they sounded like all dominants... before he did the 5 minors
Back when people listened to music, instead of sitting there with everyone else in the audience, filming it and living their lives outside of the present they should be experiencing.
George has definitely met his musical match with Joey Defrancisco RIP. Ron Eschtet ain't no joke either. George was probably there to steal some stuff from Ron when he wasn't looking!
I was fortunate enough to have studied with Ronnie in early 81/82 @ GIT …. he was a tremendous influence and one of the most knowledgeable chord melody players ever … to say he could name them and then just play like them as an example is an absolute understatement 🎶 … a pure and amazing musician and educator as well as a warm, open and caring person … a cherished memory of an amazing time in LA … Martino, Mock, D’Orio, Eschete, Tedesco Robben Ford and Carl Schroeder and too many more to list here … Thanks for posting this 🎼
Ron is treating the changes in a such fantastic way which makes my whole body cramping while holding my phone. I need to take a break from listening, it's just too much stimulation!
Okay so- 😂- here’s what happened with the guitar tuning- when George plugged in, he tuned the guitar to the root note of the song, F…that’s up a half step from normal guitar tuning. Consequently, when George then went to PLAY in F...it went from being an F blues, to an F# blues. Joey has perfect pitch, so he followed right away! Hilarious and amazing, and incredible playing by everyone!!!
