I will argue about command grabs being your first goal. If you can't play Manon without the command grab, then you're playing a bad Manon. You can win from just striking. Many players will panic once you get 5 medals. You can easily punish them by not doing any command grabs at all, making sure to anti-air them when they jump. For a grappler, Manon's anti-air is REALLY good. Once they're locked into place and go defensive, most probably in later rounds and games, then that's your signal to switch things up and go ham with the command grabs.
I regularly come back to your video and its really helped level up my manon the past few month and im very grateful for your vids awesome work keep it up!!! Im hard stuck in diamond 3 as opponents tend to jum after i whiff punish them or even after i get a perfect parry and try and get into a thorw. Ive also noticed that despite taking my opponents at times 1 hit away from dying i stress out and allow them to rally. Diamond is brutal and just one mistake costs a lot for manon. I also feel im bad at mix ups and just impulsively go for the thorw😂 i guess i have to work on patience more like you mention!!
Wow, I'm so grateful that you've used my video as a reference to better yourself! It makes me happy that you're seeing results, and while things may still be challenging you're willing to seek improvement always! Keep it up and soon you'll hit master! Thanks again and much love!
Hey there Steve! Thanks for leaving a comment! Yeah, I specifically curated matches where the Guile player would lose to emphasize the points I explained throughout the video. Hopefully it helped for a visual perspective!
Guile gets beat to the punch every time I press a button and I hate it, I never had this problem in any Street Fighter game. I’m done with this game until Bison comes or someone else I like to play with. Diamond 2
Hey purefire, thanks for leaving your comment! Perhaps, much like you said, the character isn't syncing with your playstyle, so taking a break until the character you desire comes out is better! No need to stress yourself if you're not having fun anymore.

Wow, I'm so glad that you've taken the time to really incorporate new methods to improve your game! That's the sign of a true NuWarrior and one willing to go above and beyond to ensure success! I hope the next time I hear an update you'll be sitting in the master ranks haha! Thank you Leah for being so great and supporting the community always!
Really excellent video & breakdown, I learnt a lot from watching and studying this. You have very good analysis skills, a great tone to listen to (does not become irksome or extra over time) and you have very good pacing, not too slow, not to fast so I can clearly hear and understand what’s being said which is what one needs for these types of video. Nu I wanted to know if you’d be open to playing some games with me? If so, kindly provide me with your SF6 user code or screen name so I can add you... If not, no offence taken-no harm done. Take care! :D
Wow phallicenergy, thank you so much for such a detailed and kind comment! Your comments always remind me that I'm making an impact in some way, which makes me happy! I'm truly grateful! As for playing, are you in Asia too? I typically tend to keep my list private just to avoid a lot of issues, so it's primarily close friends at the moment. I'm thinking of making a 2nd account so that I can play more with the community, once I'm able to have a better internet connection and an actual stick (I'm using KB atm lol).
Why RU-vid doesn’t tell me I’ve got a replies to messages I’ll never know... So I decided to save this video so I could come back and check for any replies at a later date. I’m not in Asia I live in the UK but I play with Japanese players with very little issues. That Asian internet must be S Tier xD I will provide you with my User Code in a separate reply. Once you have it I’ll delete it. If or when I get an add from you we can play, but if that doesn’t happen I’ll still be here to watch your videos as they’re great! :) Have a good one.
@@NuFrontierVS My apologies, I forgot to come back & do this from my previous message. As they say... better late than never. My User Code - 3261305045. Kindly add me if you’re still up for playing, have a good one Sir.

Just made it to Diamond 3 recently after a really good training session with my bff. I cannot stress enough how important patience is when playing as Manon. I like to play her as a counter-striker. I like to wait for my opponent to strike first > learn their habits and boom. Trust. Patience is 50% of it and the rest is getting your mix-ups down
Congrats on making it to D3!! That's a huge W! Patience is something that you can also carry with you outside of fighting games too, which goes to show you how important it is. Keep up the awesome work and soon you'll hit master!
Ok you've convinced me to try him again. Where do I start with learning him? His extensive kit kind of overwhelmed me and I found his combo trials difficult once I was up to advanced section. Is there a guide showing some basic combos to get you started and I can build from there?
Hey tkZombie, thanks for leaving your comment! Always appreciate it! To start learning him I'd recommend watching other strong Sim players such as Torimeshi, FChamp, as they always drop a lot of videos/guides on how to use him. I'll have to create a guide of my own at some point, once I wrap up my other series!
I only play gief since I picked up SF6 as my first SF game. And slowly realizing what I’m doing wrong. I’m trying to either be a speedy boi or a complex combo boi. This helped me realized that. Thanks and hopefully I could improve over the next months.
Hey there Stephen! Happy to hear SF6 is your 1st SF experience and you're motivated to improve! I'm so glad the video inspired you in some way to get better! Definitely keep the community updated on your progress because it's great to hear the positive testimony of others!
More analysis videos are cooking, along with more content on the way! Thank you all always for showing love! Live streams: www.kick.com/nufrontier Professional Coaching: forms.gle/HPhV1csESsfj8e346
Hey there Dasein! Thanks for leaving your comment! Footage of my Ryu gameplay is in fact used, along with other replays that I analyzed and curated for the video. I hope it was useful!
Hey MajorKoenig! Thanks for leaving a comment! If spaced well enough, AKI's fireball can definitely stop Cammy's lvl3. So be mindful when AKI's like to throw their fireballs and be close enough to catch them on their startup! Stay strong and keep fighting!
4th reason, Gief isn't a good character and doesn't have the tools everybody else has. Unless you are a 1 trick/big fan/snakeeyes/ try hard or just love a challenge( like me😢) choose somebody else.
haha, as long as you're dedicated and enjoy the character I feel you can still produce results, even if the hill is tough to climb. Stay strong NuWarrior!
Hey bzhmaddog! Thanks for dropping a comment, I always appreciate it! I'm glad the video helped to point out what you'd like to improve upon, and will motivate you to become stronger!
Ryu is my worst match up. I feel like he does everything i can do but better im stuck in plat 4. I know guiles a better character but i just hate how good ryus footsies are
Hey Joelh, thanks for leaving a comment! Just continue to train and do your best, studying replay footage to see what areas you can truly refine and improve upon! There's always a better solution and I wish you nothing but the best on your journey!

Really helpful video, actually the 3 problems i was having, i realized my defense was bad but i didnt know why, cuz i was blocking but get hit anyways, and now i know that pressing innecesary buttons was causing my character to not blocking and cuz of that take a big punish. Ty for the time to do this :)
Saturos, thank you so much for your kind words, you are appreciated! I'm so glad that this video has helped you and will transform you into a better player! Continue training to become the best you can!
@@NuFrontierVS as a total newbie to fighting games this was my first time approaching one (cuz i always saw myself as not good for them) i started rookie league and was stucked in low silver, after looking at this guide and some other ones today finally reach Gold, not a huge feat for sure but for me is everything, cuz every league i hit is a new high for myself on something i thought i wasnt good for. Thank you again for the guide, really appreciate it and your kind words.
@@saturos1643 Wow, that's truly amazing Saturos! I'm soooo happy that you climbed and are grateful for it. Like you said, if it means something to you, it means everything! I'll continue making guides to help you and others along the way! Keep growing and improving!
Hey Tsengkoko, appreciate the comment! I'll consider this for next time if looking at a much shorter gameplay video. Watching 10mins of gameplay then re-watching it again kills the flow, but I totally see you perspective! Thank you!
It's always great to watch a pro player play the game at a fundamental level, seeing how they dissect the game when learning a new character. Thanks for the guide! I still have trouble playing her defensively, eating sonicbooms or getting mixed up by being too passive. Also the greed of punishing stuff with the command grab rofl
Hey moussechan! Always a pleasure to help others grow and improve! It will definitely take time but the most important thing is that you're aware of your habits, so all that needs to be done is figuring out solutions to create healthy alternatives! When you find yourself playing too aggressive, slow down. When you're too greedy take a step back. Just learn to catch yourself doing these things and before you know it, your results will improve! Keep going and never give up!
