I'm a composer/orchestrator for Film, TV, and Video Games. I recreated all of Final Fantasy Tactics' soundtrack with modern samples, and currently make similar arrangements of other games' soundtracks.
FFT did something no other ff game has, like a modern "Peter and the Wolf" you know exactly at what point in the game you are by the soundtrack. I think It is something missed by a lot of people.

Thanks for this. I remember those days when I'm working on a team before the battle starts. Then this came up. Then it will take me 5-10 minutes just to prepare, and at least 30 minutes per battle. Only because you want everything to be perfectly executed. LOL! Those were the days.

Assuming the Hollywood Orchestra you're referring to are the EastWest sample libraries, the only thing I'm using from them here is perc stuff: snare, cymbals, tam-tam, timpani, I think bass drum? Everything else is a mix of stuff from 8Dio, Spitfire, Impact Soundworks, might be a bit of CineBrass in there I'd have to check Love Hollywood Strings tho brought that back into my template recently
OMG YES, this is my favorite battle theme from Saga Frontier! Nicely done, dude!!! I always see the Time Lord in my head when this theme plays. Lol Great job bro, can't wait to hear what other soundtracks you plan to cover! Keep up the great work!
This one always stuck with me, even though its a medley of sorts, very underrated. Its real light and would sound good as just a duet with a clarinet and flute or something... Great job on the remaster!
