I have the same problem with my new Shark uV900 Series. I have to do that 5 or 6 times before the button releases so it will lock again. Crazy design. Thanks for the video!
Hi Bro, My machine model is Samsung ecobuble WA80BG4441BGTL. It has a rinse+spin option. Both rinse and spin are in same. How do I use only spin (dry) option without rinse after I washed clothes in hand? I need to use only spin option. I don't have separate button for rinse and spin. can you tell?
What laundry soap do you use in this machine? I noticed it says no gel type or concentrated type but it seems like these days that's all there is out there
Hi, What download cycle options are available for LG washer/dryer combo? Does it have Silent Wash,Sportswear(Activewear), Eco40-60,Duvet, and Turbowash download cycle options?
hi Trevor - sorry, I've since sold this machine so am not sure but if you google for the manual and use Ctrl+F on the pdf it should tell you quite quickly, good luck
Correction - it goes up to 90 degrees Celsius on that same baby care cycle as the maximum temperature BUT there's little info online about when that would be any more effective than a 60 degree wash as shown here. Either way, following this video and tapping the thermometer icon would get you a 90 degree wash 👍🏻
Hi can you please help me with my washing machine I have bought a new one and i usually wash and dry but it has an error at the end and I don't know what is wrong
oh no! I've not had that issue, sorry - are you able to see the catch that is preventing it from coming out? all I could suggest is checking that it's not broken or look at getting some very focused sprays of WD40 On it and see if it helps? best of luck (you might have figured it by now though!)
My machine is the exact same one, and it stops mid cycle and also wont drain. I took the small drain thing out and cleaned it. Yes had a mini flood in my kitchen. The motor sounds funny when i start it up not sure whats wrong with it becuase now the power button wont work. 😢
Sorry to hear that. Did you get any error codes or other signs of issues (like loud noises) before it stopped? For the power, it definitely has not tripped the switch for your main fuse box in your house, has it? You could also try to see if in the inlet water hose at the back is clogged. The manual recommends doing this quite often as it can get blocked, it looks easy (I have not done it but intend to put up a video in coming weeks) - it says to use a pair of pliers. Good luck.
Thank you so much. ❤Very unintuitive design by LG. They have so many choices on the dial that most people never use. They could have removed a couple of those and added Spin and Rinse & Spin instead in my opinion.
I believe that they only break off by giving them a firm whack backwards. there's a tab inside that is designed to break, so they are not removable for cleaning etc, just for changing - other videos on removing baffles on washing machines should be generic enough to help you, I think. good luck
@@homehelper9273I I agree. Did you try the Denim cycle? In the manual, it only says about 9kg models only. Does this mean that you can only put like a full length of clothes of the capacity of the washing machine?
@@TechnologMachine2006 I'm sorry, I'm not sure what you mean by "full length" - do you mean maximum weight? I've not tried the denim cycle, either, but I should make more use of the various cycles!
As some of you have noted the ambiguity in parts of this video, please be sure: DO NOT mix vinegar and bleach. Use EITHER bleach OR vinegar. Stay safe!
please what does the CD mean at the end when its done washing?? and can you please do a video on its general functionality and the signs/icons it displays when operated. thank you.
cd = cool down mode after drying * I would like to do a video on icons but I sold the machine when I moved house (I liked it but had to sell)- I'll see if I can compile one from my existing videos 👍
Great video, I hadn’t cleaned the detergent tray before, but now will. I would add to the process 1) use a toothbrush to clean the housing for the lint trap; reaching way back gently to though. 2) lift the gasket flap next to the tub (difficult) and run a toothbrush or q-tips there as well as the 3 little holes at the bottom of the gasket. I found I need to do clean every 3 weeks, and I do leave the door ajar.
Another commenter spoke sarcastically of really needing to dismantle the machine from the floor pan up. I hope mold doesn’t reach further back than the tubing that’s accessible. My laundry comes out fresh if I clean every 3 weeks, regardless of the number of cycles run, so it must be OK. However, today I went a step further, and used a 2’ springy straw brush I had. The brand is CamelBak, and made for cleaning the sip tube. This reached all the way to the back of the tubing where the filter is, and also the small tube for draining. I rotated it around while bringing it back out. There was definitely a LOT of mold up there. Side note - this is now a dedicated brush for the washer. 😆
No NO it's counter clockwise to screw it back in!! Don't you know you're in the UK mate. It's the other way round!! LOL Kidding. Thanks for the video. I have the LG WM3770HVA for 7 years now and never cleaned this and I take great care of my stuff so I just paused the video and went up stairs to the laundry room (no my washer is not in the kitchen mate) and cleaned mine. Not a dang thing in it. I was actually scared to be honest. Thought it would be a mess! Great video., 5 stars!
Hi, i would like to ask something when i try to press the button nothing shows up or not even a sound? Is it lock or something? But there's no child lock showing on the screen. Can you please help me with this. Thank you.
you might have accidentally turned the sound on or off, that's one thing. otherwise, it's a longer press on that button than you might think and it's easy not to press it properly (I find those buttons weird!). Another thing is that it can only be done when no other cycle is in motion. probably not much help but that's all I've got! good luck🤞
Fair play to me, I had tried your remedy before coming into google & RU-vid and I can’t believe there are people out there that are actually helped by this video (having not previously tried to re shut the damn door properly!) - takes all sorts I suppose 😊
