I think it really doesnt matter if you say fall or autumn, as for me. What matters is a great selection of patterns, and they are here, in this video, thank you for that 💗
I am 100% a cat person. So with dogs, I have the same thing like you with cats: I don't have a slightest clue what their moods are and how to approach them
Hello I am currently making the Ingrid sweater and love it. I find it so much fun to knit. Having said that I have run into a question on the Body chart. Row 19, the first stitch on the chart? Cannot understand how to begin the row. Any help you offer would be appreciated. Thanks for your videos you really are a talented knitter.
Ciao Celine. Greeting from Australia, I am so pleased to have found you on RU-vid. I loved your vlog from when you spent Easter in Italy and saw a beautiful garment in the first shop that you visited which was a purple top with white flowers. I have bought the Rananculus pattern after seeing yours and I have also bought the same Rowan yarn that you bought. I am still a 'novice' knitter although I have knitted on and off for years. I look forward to seeing more of your vlogs in the future. My husband is Italian and is from Trieste, I am going to go online and see if there are yarn and fabric shops there. Take care
The kfo Madeleine Sweater is currently on my needles. It‘s my first buttom up construction and I really love it so far! (I‘m some rows away from gartner stitching the shoulder seams…) But after hitting gauge and measuring one of my other sweaters I decided to shorten it by a whole pattern repeat (and it will not even be a cropped sweater now) because it‘s a really long sweater. I knit it in drops belle and my only regret is that I will eventually not get a lot of wear out of it before the colder weather arrives… But it‘s so incredibly beautiful ❤❤❤ go for it
One my needles is a mitten! I’m making the Ruukkatarha Mitts by Anna Johanna and I’m loving it. It’s been so nice to see immediate progress with the color work as opposed to working hours on something to only gain a few inches like my other projects.
Hi Celine, yet another wonderful video with beautiful inspo! Your style is so feminin and classy, I love it 🥰 Currently working on the Terracotta Sweater by Leknit! Greetings from Norway ⛄️
I love Holst Garn! I’ve made a sweater holding Holst Garn Coast and Titicaca together and it’s so soft! Currently working on the Moonset Tee in Coast. It’s my go to yarn for garments! And I have plans to make a sweater using Coast with a brushed suri alpaca
I’ve knit the wishbone sweater and it was my fastest sweater I’ve ever knit. The twisted rib became such an addictive rhythm! There is some purling through the back loop… it wasn’t fun but it was minimal, only in the section where you knit back and forth for the chest and back areas.
wait so random but what colour was the colour of the along avec Anna slipover you saw a girl wear? just because I once walked into the beautiful knitters shop when I was wearing my navy primrose slip over and you were working that day but I was to shy to come say hi!! curious whether that was me or not :))
Close to me cardigan is what I am working on right now by lily kate makes…. I am in California and I hear fall and autumn interchangeably so use what you like!
I test knit Star Crossed Knits' Prima Pullover and it was sooo fun- highly recommend. I used Lily Kate France's Axis yarn which worked beautifully, so it was basically a full knitting RU-vidr experience ❤
Thank you for another wonderful podcast! I love your selection of fall/ autumn patterns. I’m always happy with the inspiration it brings. I am working on the Kuutar tee by Sari Nordlund and knitting it with drops Belle. Love the yarn! It does split a bit but it feels so nice on my hands, much softer than the 100% cottons I’ve knit with this summer. I’m making a Kuutar with long sleeves (as I have seen on the Ravelry page) so I can wear it in fall and spring and on chilly summer days. O I still have the wishbone on my needles since last winter, I’m on sleeve island and don’t know what to do, frog of finish. The yarn I chose is drops air and I don’t think that’s the best choice. Also i made the ribbing on the neck a bit too long for my liking. So frog or finish….decisions decisions….😏
I'm currently trying to finish up my Mayball Wrap so I can cast on my latest obsession (the Quinn pullover). I'm in Australia but I don't really knit according to seasonal use because I just cast on whatever inspires me because I love cozy pieces and our summers are not conducive to cozy-piece wearing. Long story short, I chase the dopamine knits 😂
Another vote for Autumn! It really depends on if you use English (general) or English (American). Everyone who speaks English outside of North America uses Autumn. That being said, if you tend towards other American English works (trash instead of rubbish; toh-may-to instead of ton-mah-to, etc), it would make sense to use Fall! Realistically, though, we all understand what you are saying and it’s really not that deep :]
Thank you, this is an excellent review! I was looking for a recommendation on a Petite Knit sweater and now I have it, for myself and my husband. (I also tried the Anna's baby sweater with the eyelets and it was not a success because the pattern did not lead one to success - the yarnover holes were impossible to align.)
What if you knit something for the handles of your mugs? Kind of like a tea/mug cozy. But instead it would be a handle cozy. 😄 I have been working on a mosaic hat as a gift, and 2 fingering weight sweaters. The fingering weight is taking FOREVER! I'm so ready for a worsted or a DK weight project... I may have to peruse your instagram for inspiration.
Wow, I love the Betty Blouse 😍 Currently I just finished the knitting on a Zipper sweater for my Hubby (just need to sew in the zipper) and am knitting on a Puro Cardigan in Noro yarn
I’m testing the upcoming “Skye” cardigan by Stefania in “Willow” in the super soft holst! I love that color so much. I’m happy you detailed the wishbone sweater! It’s always caught my eye when I’ve seen it! I’m super into red garments too! Great episode! ❤️❤️❤️
you should consider the SEO value of both fall and autumn by looking at their search volume, and go with the one that will generate the most trafic :) love your picks also!
I am currently knitting the “Step by step cardigan” by Handmade by Florence. Loved this video - many designs that I had never seen before. Fell in love with the Solene cardigan - I would love to make it in raspberry color for next summer 🥰
I am also a dog person, but have recently started fostering cats and it has been a dream. So now I am constantly torn between my two loves....anyway, on my needles is The Simple Knit Hood by Lia Lykke per your recommendation! I'm on the i-cord edging (new skill for me!), so I'm almost done!
