Grande Nevin! I support the Italian PGS, PSL team of course, but I have to say that if you're looking for the perfect style, the overwhelming technique and the beauty of it, you need to watch Nevin. You are the undisputed master. I've watched all your videos and races many times, and still I can't really comprehend how can you match front turns on knees and back turns on hips, without moving you upper body and your shoulders. Incredible. I'll keep watching them forever, and I will never make it....!!!!! (and so will do my hardbooters friends). Grazie Nevin....!!!!!
Thanks! And yes, as a Worldcup racer I have experimented with LOTS of radiuses. For videos I prefer to use this Oxess 174 SXR „Nevin Edition“. It has a radius of 12.5m.
God level carving. That's exactly the style I'm working toward in my free carving, which is to say racing inspired, not overly turny. I'm studying this so closely.

Hi Nevin! super coole videos! der switch gefällt mir besonders gut, weil ich weiß, wie schwierig das auf einem raceboard ist, aber für einen Olympiasieger natürlich kein problem😅. Hab dir 2018 fest die daumen gedrückt und werde das im februar wieder tun. Alles Gute aus Tirol!
Könntest du vielleicht auch mal ein Video machen auf was es beim normalen carven, also nicht im Slalom alles ankommt? Und wirklich einen unfassbaren Style den du da beim Fahren hast👌
They act like this is a hard sport, but i'm sure that normal snowboarding way cooler and harder is. hitting jumps, rails and also turning. This sport is just turning at high speed. Get creative in life, fuck perfect techniques.
"Act like this is a hard sport". Please learn about the sport and the athletes competing before making such comment. I'm sure most people think that normal snowboarding is cooler and that is ok. As long as snowboard racing is still an olimpic sport, people will love it, enjoy it and promote it.
there talks someone who has tried it and failed! All elite sports are just that - elite - and take hard work and talent - you sound like someone who won't put in the effort and has no talent!
Awesome video and riding style. I absolutely agree with MadDubTech - your content is original. I always thought that its pitty to have only parallel slalom as a discipline on Olympics. If there would be something as combination of giant slalom and snowboard cross (ofc on wider slope), one could demonstrate his snowboarding skills, his fluent ride, tight or long turns, laid down or carved, based on his feeling of the terrain and slope in general. Anyways, giant thumbs up and bow for keeping the art of snowboard carving alive!
Nevin, pls, more. Finally something else than just "oh watch me i am so low i can put my hand on the snow". I love your riding style and I think that u could do sth good to gs/sl or even carve by entertaining ppl with videos like this. I coach academic team and every year is the same: "But there is freestyle competition, right?".
