Lowering the rim would be a bad idea for the WNBA. Other leagues play on 10ft rims so WNBA players would have to mess with their shot and muscle memory etc, and then go and try to readjust for international competition and other professional leagues that they play on.. not to mention players coming up from lower age groups that aren't using the lower rim. It would isolate the WNBA even more...

The WNBA isn't competitive, and i dont mean the level of play (which is still poor but whatever) i mean the attitudes and competitive relationship between teams. The women don't play for their teams and compete with each other, they play for their league and cooperate with each other across teams to try and produce highlights and prove their detractors wrong. Defenders will just step down and away and let the offense have their shot so that they have clips or highlights to show for it. These people aren't engaged in a competitive high stakes professional sport, they're participating in a farce. Players on both teams work together playing not for their teams but for the WNBA trying to prove the rest of the world wrong, then collect their handout pity money from the real league and go home. You're watching a bunch of actresses play professional pretend sports.

They are complaining cause they receive JUST 200 thousand to play ridiculous level of basketball, pretending they are the best league in the world, while most of they would not even be considered good players at the olympics or comparing to other sports, like woman tennis or volleyball, were the level us not so different from the male circuit
I'm all for womans rights and equality.. But we need to remember only 100 years ago woman working at all was almost forbidden.. Woman playing basketball for a profession is a privilege that these ladies take way too lightly, pretty sure a lot of them barely practice!
