@bkehlin hot air concern will be addressed with a custom hood & grille I am designing. Check out my video where I 3D model a concept grille if you're curious.
@@11streetdog sure but painting takes way more effort and requires booth for ideal conditions. I recently plastidipped my deck lid and got an uneven finish due to wind conditions as I have no garage.
@ravenjohnroma351 Great! I've had this bottle since 2012 and only use it once a year. All my trim is still original, and they haven't cracked even with long sun exposure. This simple maintenance goes a long way. I highly recommend it!
Thanks! Unfortunately, I recently fell on hard times and had to sell the camper. Working on getting back on my feet so I can get out there again. Keep enjoying your camper lifestyle & hope to join you soon! 🤙
I don't think ARB has brackets for tubular racks, I've only seen brackets for flat T-Rail systems. Which is why I went with GZilla, they have simple C clamps that bolt together and they have various sizes to accommodate most tubes. My second option would have been GOBI, the manufacturers of my roof rack, as they make mounts for various uses as well.
Nitrous?! on a 4.0?! That's wild & I dig it 😎 what nitrous system did you use? I was thinking about a twin turbo setup but I feel a supercharger would be better for a more consistent power band, but that's without having considered nitrous.
When you add any performance parts, you should clean and inspect every surrounding part under that hood. Check for faulty wiring and check ground connections, clean the throttle body, clean your maf etc etc etc. It helps
I got you bro. South Padre Island is the beach I frequently go to. For paddle sessions I usually depart from Tortuga Flats Bay Access, where you can drive in with vehicle and park by the water.
I have a K&N cold air intake on my 2005 mustang gt and I have no problems with it at all! What's done to my car is a Dyno tune and the K&N cold air intake
That should be faster my 2008 ford mustang v6 4.0 liter with straight pipe new transmission and cold air intake and cleaned throttle body is crazy fast even before it was crazy fast you must have did something wrong
It was a surprise for everyone, so they appeared on the main stage. The top VIP package did have an autographed meet with Cody Walker, which was pretty cool.
My first mustang was a 4.0 and it was really fun beat a couple of 2v v8 mustangs don’t let anyone talk you down as long as you have fun and love the car that’s all that matter keep it up!♥️
So ive supercharged my camaro but with all the supporting mods it costs a fortune, im looking to add an intake and tune to my mustang and im thinking JLT with possibly headers. Cool video bro keep going 🔥
A supercharged camaro, that's nice! I hope to build something like that someday. I'm barely starting out with simple upgrades like the tune/intake combo, but that alone has changed the demeanor of my Mustang. It finally sounds like a legit sports car compared to its factory tune, and someone else just vouched for the JLT tunes in my comments, so I'm sure the upgrades you mentioned will be a great fit for your Mustang. I'm excited for your build bro and thanks for the support! I will try to post more content soon 🔥
I've never had any problems with the JLT CAI and BAMA tune. Using their 91 perf tune right now. I did order a tune from MPT. Gonna see how well that works.
Nice! The BAMA tune was definitely an upgrade from stock, its my first tune so I'm pleased with the results. Let us know how that MPT tune works for ya!
Yes, fortunately, this kit comes with a factory oiled filter. I can show the process of oiling the filter DIY soon, will be giving the car a big refresh.
I checked out the reviews on these steps and they’re not favorable. The color will fade and screws will start rusting according to the reviews. I have the Body Armor steps. Super strong and durable. Over a year no discoloration or rust.
There's definitely heftier options, I prefer the slimmer stealthy look, so I got these. After a year in use, mine has not faded at all. This product is not painted, but metal coated in black, so there is no fade, and it is scratch resistant. As for the rust, my bolts are also prestine, and that's because the material is aluminum alloy. I go to the beach often, so I'm actually surprised they are spotless compared to other gear i have. The only place I did see rust forming is in the screw that hinges the step in place, but it's quite minimal. I have gotten comments that the step broke on them, so weight is definitely an issue. I weigh 150 lbs and my steps are still going strong. I'll upload a video soon showing the wear.
No, had an unfortunate medical episode with one of my dogs, so I sold it to help cover some of those bills. Wish I could have kept her, such a neat camper.
@malekb5275 Yeah, I think they are quite the niche camper. Most people at RV camps would ask about it cause they had never seen one. I originally wanted a wolf pup black label, but the rpods offer a similar package for a better price. The 171 is also light, mine weighed around 1,700 lbs. If that's a good load for your Subaru, the teardrop shape will give you less air drag on the long trips.
Yes, was planning on making the area temp controlled for the sake of the PC. Unfortunately I have sold the camper since then, so who knows when I can attempt such a build again.
Thanks for the idea! Was unaware such screws existed, I'll keep them in mind. I now have a pair of roam cases up there that block access to the screws and the cases are also padlocked in place, so it should be pretty secure for now. 👍🏻
I think overdrive was on when you were doing your 0-60 because it was shifting a like 4K rpm. I recommend you turn it off so you can rev all the way to 6k and get the most out of your acceleration. The button should be on the side of the shifter below the handle. Also that’s a nice Mustang. Don’t get rid of it.
No way must have bumped the button somewhere along the way. I'll be sure that it's off next time and try to do another run soon. And 💯 percent not getting rid of this car.
@@wildindaveThe only other thing I can think of to improve your time is a more controlled launch. As fun as it is to peel out and screech the tires it can kill your time. Practice and figure out what RPM to rev and launch your car at and how much throttle you need to get the fasted launch possible without wheel spin.
@dr.pingas7148 I agree. Once I figure out how to launch it better, I'll do more proper time attacks. Maybe even go to the local strip to log legit times.
Yes I do! Unfortunately there's little to none off-road friendly places where I'm currently located. So coming up with cool jeep content has been tough.
