My cat was kept In the bathroom with her litter mates and mama. She sees the bathroom as a comfort zone. She often tries to sleep in the sink, but it's too small for her, so she hangs her head over the edge, and that makes her cough. I have to go I to the bathroom and take her out. She is very silly
I never got to have my best guy Snickers as a small puppy as me and my son and daughter who were 8&9 at that time adopted him from the Humane Society when he was 1.5 years old. He was a beautiful 2 toned copper colored Husky who still had plenty of the puppy in him though the first week we had him he didn’t make a sound because I think he was afraid we’d send him back. I remember taking him to the dog park and he was always the leader running free with all the other dogs playing chase. He lived to the age of 18 and still it wasn’t long enough. Until I see him again run free with all your friends from the neighborhood and are other beloved dogs, I miss you and James and Bear - I miss and love you all!
FYI domestic rats make some of the best pets especially as first time pets with elementary school children. Initially we were going to get Guinea pigs but the person at the pet store explained to me that rats are the most intelligent of these small animals, affectionate and the least likely to bite and she was absolutely right!
