Thank you some much for this video, i just found your channel a few days ago because i want to start painting on jackets, it has been verry helpful! Can i ask something..when you are layering the paint..like white to make the other colours pop, do you let the paint dry before the second layer? Thank you! Greetings from the Netherlands!
A tactic for preserving acrylic paint, especially working color pallets, is to freeze them when you're done for the day. Wet acrylic will freeze and thaw safely. Does anyone know if this is true for fabric paints? If they're water-based, I suspect this will work. Freezing marker paint when between uses would increase the time before it dries in the marker. But you must plan ahead and thaw them before use.
Do you know if there is a company that sells fabric paint markers? Like posca but with fabric paint in em instead of acrylic. .... It might be fun to try to add a fabric medium to a posca... I wonder if anyone has tried this
In America there is a company that has been around forever called Angelus. Their paint is also excellent for leather. If you look at the old leather flight jackets with planes painted on them it's usually Angelus. This is a professional product designed for that purpose. Nowadays people are customizing their sneakers. There are a lot of fun examples on their website, check them out! Thanks for the tips on denim jackets.
