He Louis, Great job. Lemme guess.. If you already had all your footage in-house, no need for converting, resizing to 1 format..and you already are familiar with all your stock footage, AND you have the Quatsi script to use, that would have been 2 years of editing, on a daily yet part time bases. Am I wrong?
I was initially going to give this a thumbs down as I intensely dislike people ripping off this great film. However, your footage has some merit. Therefore, I have upgraded and will give no rating at all. Hold the camera still.
nice videos, i like them. But a little question : How many hours of film do you recorded ? Just grab a camera and film everything or put in your car and drive around usa ?! (like in your Resource - Version) nevertheless real cool videos... greetings from germany
Koyaanisqatsi music is structured around the four elements. First, the hypotetic word is linked to fire. Then it shows the four elements. The fourth element, fire, is being studied during the rest of the film, the narration being stuctured around Hopi prophecies (that reverberate with a biblical background). The fact that fire takes so much place, although all the elements should be equal, shows how it is out of balance and how it want to replace all the others elements (but fail in the end).
