I’ve been riding since 2000 and have never ridden a fast cbr. I’m not saying it isn’t because I haven’t ridden that particular one but I’ve rode tons of them with mods galore and the fast 600 I’ve ridden was one I owned 01 Yamaha R6 champion edition with a cpl discreet mods. It could hang with 1000’s until 150 mph
Iam not an anti small capacity bikes neither pro a liter bike... Just want to share my thought.. If we choose to drink a 250 ml Coca cola and 1 liter Coca cola.. Which one we choose? .. Just like.. Are 250 Mb Movie clip are better than 1Gb ( 1000mb) movie clip ? ... If were a bare basic type kind of a guy.. Prolly 250ml coca cola.. 250mb Movie clip.. 250cc Sport bike.. Are enough for Us.. But for people who Need more than a basic necessities.. One liter Coca Cola.. 1gb Movie clip.. And 1 liter Sport bike.. Those are things that meet theyre demand.. Anyway' what ever Capacity and brand names ur bike are.. As long as ur happy with it.. Just go for it.. Followed ur own heart Calling.. By searching through the Net' like in these one good channel information.. Go Through Mechanic on bike shop.. Ask Guy who have the Similar bike that we Like.. Last but not least.. Always a very good thing to ride fast along rows of parked cars. What's more exiting than having them backing out in front of you - great to test your reflexes...
I have the Xpect. Great bike for the cash and solid. Starts every time. Easy to register in NJ. Shipped to my house in a box. Funny I changed my mirrors and they look like yours. Did not like the round ones.
Looks super fun, although I don't care for the amount of technology that's been stuffed into it, the LCD screen and cursor buttons to go through menus or whatever. One reason I've been wanting to get into motorcycles is to get away from driving a "computer on wheels" and it's sad to see those trends from cars coming to bikes now as well.
5 reasons? Naa…there’s only 1. They’re fun.. Yeah I’ve got one. Orange variant. And I’m 63. 😂😂 Easy maintenance up to a point. Try changing the spark plug without taking the tank off…good luck. 😂 But that itself is pretty easy with snap on connections. And some of the bolts are a bit on the soft side. So be careful. Most fun I’ve ever had on any bike. Awesome machine. Drill the baffle out..easy job. Sounds way better then. Cheers From South Africa 🇿🇦
The performance seems like a good match for me, I wouldn't want to start out on something that can reach 100+ mph too "effortlessly" and get me in trouble. I want to be able to enjoy winding it up through the first 2 or 3 gears before hitting the speed limit, which this will do.
Haha, thanks for reminding me why I won't be buying a 600 for my first or probably second bike! I want to be able to wind out more than just first gear before reaching the speed limit, and I think the supersport sitting position isn't the best match for me. Maybe a Hornet 600, those are tuned a little differently than the CBR.
I had one. It was brilliant. Reliable, and fast enough to have fun on the twisties. Unfortunately I smashed it up after high siding it on a gravel spill. Gave up riding for a couple of years but was tempted back by a Triumph Speed 400.
the best part you don't really need a license to ride a 50cc in a lot of places and it does get you to one point to the other point I recommend getting a class 3 Ebike or this

I love my R3 but I definitely want to get an R6 for highway commuting. The R3 is quick but definitely doesn’t have the get up and go I want. On the street it’s amazing though. Weight to power is great, and riding a slow bike fast is definitely more fun than riding a fast bike slow!
I started on a 125cc Chineses scooter many years ago. Since then I’ve owned many motorcycles from motards to superbikes to cafe racers. I have since sold all my motorcycles and have recently purchased a Sym Crox 125cc. I think it’s called a Lance Cabo in the US. I am having an absolute blast on it at almost 50 years old. Anybody who bad mouths scooters clearly hasn’t ridden one or is incapable of having fun.
A lot of which is stated is because of production cost. And honestly it never really hurts the R3 in sales. It's a fun, sexy, and exciting bike. Everyone will turn heads regardless of displacement.
The only bike is better than the GSX-R 600 is the GSX-R 750. Literally the same bike on steroids. BTW GSX-R 1000 is not better than 750, it's completely different design.
I actually have a little 50cc scooter myself, a Derbi Boulevard to be specific. It's basically a copy of a Piaggio Fly, along with the 2-stroke engine in it. Mine personally is tuned with a Technigas Turbokit and PHGS 17.5mm carburator. It drives at about 45 mph, happily cruising at such speed. For something I paied less than 400 bucks for, including the tuning, highly recommended.
Bro I believe the 2024 they fixed a lot things,which is the model I'm getting very soon,also KTM has it in a sexy Atlantic blue,has a different headlight shroud too when you turn the key before initial startup,if you unlock quick shifter,you don't need to touch the clutch from my understanding an also,you can turn rear abs off for drifting, better rider modes now as well,more horsepower at 43 horsepower,bigger air box is why mono shocks is on the right side of the bike,I was getting a 2023 an then bang the release the new 2024 model an I was like dang,I want it,also the reduced unsprung weight in the front of the bike an in the rims as well,so popping wheelies is even easier to do if want to do hooligan stuff,it is a bit more money but for everything your getting an also first baby duke to have adjustable front suspension on the go like it's bigger brothers 1290 an 1390 an 990 dukes
I remember my gixxer.. 😢 So cofortable, agile and fun. One of my last runs with her was a 700 mile day throught the twisted sisters in Texas. Left at 4 a.m.and got home at 1 a.m. the next morning. No pain and sooo much fun. Everyone talks about a Harley. Had one of those too. Nope. Im a gixxer dude all day. I ride it more than I drive my vette. The perfect bike.
