When they see us they see the things they fear the most They see what its like to be less in power to be stuggling .... to be looked down because of physical appearance ... people fear most is slavery to be controlled by higher authority or to be at ur most vulnerable moment when u are looked down on by others in disgust
I got a distinction in English B last year thanks to you🎉🎉🎉🎉 I can’t believe it tysm. I always thought I’d get a 2 in English B it wasn’t really a strong point for me. Sorry for the late message😂😂
@@Jerry_JesusChrist I have no immediate plans to dive into CAPE content, as I still have more CSEC texts to get into. But I might so livestreams on the CAPE poems.
@@AdamWebbCSECi have an english b question i would like to use this poem for. What i mean is she sacrificed herself when she spent years raising him as a single mother living in poverty and then she had to sacrifice her hopes and dreams for her son because she knew that he was unwavered in his decision to live a life of crime/or as a soldier (i really never thought about that)) this vid helped me alot.
@@jonathanlaborde1244 Ahh, that definitely makes sense! Indeed, her sacrifice was great, but in the end, it seems she will not get a good return on her investment.
Hello. It didn’t mention passersby in the points so I was wondering if it’s okay to mention that even though it’s an assumption which could be true or should I just ignore it or any one of the two is fine?
@@Thy_Queen_ lol Honestly, I don't think I'm super talented when it comes to English and lit. I just really enjoy teaching these subjects! I'm so happy that RU-vid has given me this opportunity to reach so many.
In stanza three line 2 I think "screams of delighted children" could a contrast because before the storm they would've been happy and after it they were uk sad, distressed wtv. I cld be wrong but I js wanted to put that out there
Thank you :) I read a poem many times when doing an analysis. Actually, I spend a considerable amount of time on every line and pay attention to every single word and their multiple meanings. Also, when analyzing, know what kind of information you are looking for (meaning, tone, mood, poetic devices, POV, etc.).
