I thought that Karaté was outlawed in Russia. Glad to see some Russian practitioners. I believe you guys could teach us(the world) a thing or two about Karaté conditioning
Mistakes from both which should not be happening at this level. Both have good power and good stances. It depends on their respective ranks, but about a 'B.'
J'ai pratiqué le uechi ryu en france pendant de nombreuses années, et je vous assure que ce que je vois dans cette vidéo n'est pas du uechi ryu 😅, Kanbun uechi se retournerait dans sa tombe s'il voyait ce combat😢
The way sparring is done today. It all looks almost exactly similar to Shotokan. I have seen videos where people truly sparred using authentic Uechi Ryu techniques. I guess the reason for the change is because in points sparring and usually turns out looking like what we see in the video. No disrespect to the people involved it it’s just that karate has changed so much in the past 20 years.
Shoulders squared, standing to straight up, chin to high, no follow through on punches or combinations, scared to be hit. I can see this just from looking on video these guys do not spar regularly. They like like fighters with less than a year of experiance in a MMA gym.
