Welcome to One Hundred Levels - join the journey to physical mastery. Socrates said it is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable. Our adventure here is about leveling ourselves up and becoming the best well rounded martial artists and general athletes we can be. I want to make it as entertaining and informative as I can, and generally, provide as many workouts as I can. My goal is to be active every day, and live the one hundred levels journey I'm setting out on.
Please teach me the Tao of Jeet Kune do it will help me a lot post a training video every day please brother and i will support your RU-vid channel also ❤❤
I've got more coming! It's been hard to balance work life/parent life with trying to start a youtube channel. But as time goes on I'll post more and more. Thanks for sticking around !! 😄
@CalebCormac this was a really cool video. I'm nearly to my front splits on each side, but middle splits are trickier. Now you've got me considering a more thorough/intense stretching regimen. Channel membership is out for me right now, but you'll still get SOME support from me via views, likes, and comments! Thanks again for making such cool content.
@@_jade_rebel_ Right on ! That's awesome, yea this was a huge experiment for me and I'm glad I went through with it. Thanks for checking out the video and finding some inspiration to continue your flexibility journey. I'll see you around!
"Tao is a random collection of some of Bruce's notes. No one can learn JKD from there. Even some of movie fight choreography made it into that book." - Thomas Marx [Original JKD Instructor]
Dude!! Thank you so much!!! I was looking for a daily training routine, the calisthenics stuff i found wasn't it for me. I forgot about the exercises in the Tao of JKD. Thanks Caleb. Be the water my friend!!!
This wasn’t around the past 4 years I’ve been trying to research JKD. Well done! I’ve been searching for an in depth philosophical side of JKD. That would be much appreciated from you ❤
I wouldn’t go too deep into the philosophy of JKD. It is first and foremost a martial art meant to end a situation fast. Too many people go down this path and lose sight of what JKD is. Too much reading and thinking, not enough training and doing. It has principles, body mechanics and footwork. If you want to know more about what JKD really is follow John Paul Daily and watch his most recent live steam, simplicity, directness - non classical. You will learn a lot. Also look into Thomas Marx JKD and Tommy Carruthers. Tommy is easily the most talented JKD guy around.
Some are commenting with little research , after training in hong kong different martial arts he flee to USA where he also learned theirs and he combined techniques to come up with jeet kundo .the question he did not fight is , lack of research many sparring he did till he became master . joining Hollywood is not that easy first you must know martial arts
Can somebody tell me if anyone else got sick of there life's watching this vid.this is the first time I was absolutely bored to tears with this Bruce lee topic.never thought it was possible..🥱🥱🫣🥱🥱🥱 🫤🫤 I don't recommend this vid at all learn nothing...trust me.💯😬
Movement is the essence of humanity. We were born to move. We only get old when we stop moving. Thanks for this wonderful look at my martial beginnings.
Learning from a book is one thing, but you do require a teacher in order to master it. Remember that Bruce Lee first had to study form in order to see what was 'useless' and what could be kept. To be truly formless, you must first have a form to begin with. A solid foundation. Then, once mastering the basics, push past in order to build what is uniquely your own.
Good job. Very few jkd guys seem to read Lee's writings. Alot of them are fat and out of shape... that isn't jkd. The primary foundation is fitness. Then develop skills. Keep up the good work
