I'm 19 and graduated from high-school in 2019. Mathematics has always been my favourite subject but I do not agree with the way it is taught in schools. I created this channel to revolutionise the way mathematics is taught. Blurring the lines between education and entertainment, I work to create the best maths videos ever.
thank you! so helpful! i forgot basically everything i knew about trig somehow and didn't want to ask my teacher to re-teach me like half of what we did last year. other explanations only really explain how to find sin/cos/tan not _what_ they are (˃̣̣̥n˂̣̣̥ )
This is the best explanation of the unit circle & trigonometric functions I have ever seen, I finally have a clear understanding of them. Thank you so much!
Really well done, Jay. I'm 42 and got lost in math in high school because I didn't have instructors to explain it like you just did. You just taught me what Sin, Cos and Tan actually is. Please keep going with your videos!
19:17 29:20 its all about vertical shift and horizontal shift sin (30 degree) = cos (60 degree) dont forget when it comes to finding sides then soh coh toa rise over run is delta y/delta x rise over run is different form co-ordinates because they are steps and co-ordinates is destination
I can said that this is trigonometry video that i have been searching for.it really help logical thinking like me.best recommend to people who dont really understand sine, cosine and tangen
Where are the other videos you were about to post as you said in this video? ARE YOU OKAY? I mean... May be Godforbid something happened to you due which you were unable upload? We need more videos
Outstanding, really well presented, thank you. I managed to get an Engineering degree without really understanding this deeply. So clear now how this defines the curves too!
I always knew that they were functions used to measure angles and sides for triangles. But I never understood, nor was ever taught, what sin cos and tan......ARE??? Like are they like how pi=3.14? so basically sin cos tan are basically just constants that mathemeticians found hundreds of years ago?
if im being honest bro, this video explained the concept so much better than an teacher at school did, and im really glad yo decided to make the video. Please make more explaining other concepts in math! i know it would help lots of people including me. again, thank you so much for making this super duper easy!!
Isn't it for a circle and not a straight line if you draw a line from 90 to 0 the centre point must be 0.5 . In X and Y direction whereas 0.7 is for the circle or Arc the extra height
thanks a lot, i finally understand sine, cosine and tan. My teacher explain them for me, but I still cant understand, you are a nice teacher, keep going!
I can't really believe yet, but now this thing seems to make much more sense than an hour ago... Surely,I'll still have to take some time on this topic, but you brought it a lot closer to my understanding G! It's just crazy! Thank you very-very much!
