I'm glad you made this video, (2008 Equinox) because reflects a need of owners with these cars. My noise happened after I put on my brakes in a vain attempt to grab a newspaper on the driveway without leaving my car. My foot slipped off the brake, the car moved down our steep driveway about a foot, my wife frowned, the door swung open, and the sound started.
My headlight works but my issue is that it's not firm. It moves around like something is broken like the bracket. Any tips on that? Could it be the assembly?
I tried and tried to get mine out and they would not budge. I actually barley bent the baffle and still would not come out. I've had them on a couple of years.
I was just making it easier to get to the exhaust manifold. My condenser had a leak at one of the connections, I put in new o'rings when putting it back together.
Hi Do you know how to set the lights on signal again, I mean when you get off, there should be a sound that your lights are not turned off, something is wrong with my signal reagards from Poland
Greetings Poland, the chime comes from your left front speaker. If you have an aftermarket radio then that may not have been connected properly. If all is original, check to see if the speaker in the door on driver side is working.

This problem has been going on since at least 1993, I always carried the tools and spare bulbs in my 1500 pickup. Why did they replace the 1157 bulbs that worked for 50 years?
Planned obsolescence! They want things to fail so the average person will take it back to the dealership. I think they went overboard with the short lifespan of these bulbs.
I no I'm late to the party but do you remember what the torque specs are for the rear differential cover bolts I can't seem to be able to find any information about it and the bering size a part number would be awesome thanks 👍
I couldn't find a part number for the bearing or Torque specs when I was working on it. I just tighten the bolts to a decent amount. For the bearing, my brother took the old one to a truck part supplier in Cleveland and had them match it up. We looked all over before that without any luck.
I’m dealing with this right now on my 2012 Chevy Express work van. I’ve replaced bulbs every 6 months it seems and now I’ve replaced the bulb and still doing the same thing. I’m about to run out and try scrapping up the connectors. I’ll let you know the results.
Just bought these exact same mufflers for my 02 lx sport that currently is straight piped. I’m looking for something close to stock when driving normally, but can also make some noise when I push the pedal a little harder.
@@NorthCoastT would love to see another walk around video of the car even if there’s nothing new. There’s very few lx sport videos and the 2002 model specifically has fewer videoes than I count count on one hand.
@daypayton1236 I did have fun with it and loved having the LX Sport. I did a ton of work and upgrades to it that were never recorded. I didn't start my RU-vid channel until I had owned it for a while. Thank you again for all your support and views. I hope to bring you more enjoyable moments in the future.
@luperodriguez5308 from what I can see just looking at pictures of my interior and when I had to take things apart, here is what I remember. The cup holders are all part of the center console and that whole unit pulls straight up and only held in tlwith clips. I would disconnect the negative battery cable 1st because the airbag modules are under it. If the shifter area is in the way, pull up on the chrome bezel around shifter, held by clips. Then pull the pocket in front of shifter, pulls straight up held by clips. Some years had window switches but the plastic around still goes straight up. Then 2x 7mm screws and several clips that hold the plastic around shifter and again, pulls straight up. Might make things easier if gear selector is in Low and the emergency brake lever is pulled up.
Wow, sorry to hear that. Crank but no start can be a lot of things. 1st check for spark and fuel. You can press in the valve on the fuel rail and see if there is pressure if you don't have a fuel pressure tester. One of the spark plugs can be removed, leave it connected to the wire, place the metal end on and exhaust manifold, have someone crank it and see if there is any spark.
