Just an Aussie Critter showing my love for all things Critical Role! I'm consistently amazed by the pure love that is the critter community and adore connecting with you though our shared passion for these stories.
I've been a critter since the end of 2021 and making fan edits since September 2022. While I'm not up to date with everything, this channel contains spoilers for all 3 campaigns, as well as one shots, con panels and other CR content.
These video are always unofficial fan content and not approved or endorsed in any way by Critical Role.
So I bought that thing when they first put it on their site. I got so excited when I saw that I didn't hear that it had pockets. Well fast forward to about a month ago. It's become my comfort vest. I'm walking around the house and adjust the thing when my hand slips into a pocket. I immediately shout out "It has pockets?!"
Eldritch blast is "supposed" to mirror what kind of patron the warlock is bound to. Fjord was bound to a Fathomless patron, so his eldritch blasts were most likely flavored to look like blasts of sea water. Laudna is bound to a Undying patron, but is also multiclassed as a Shadow sorcerer, so her eldritch blast could look like anything from shadow tendrils to condensed globs of black ichor.
Matt had said on occasions that he had to improvise the Chasity's Nook because of Caleb aka Liam. So I guess it can't be help that his description wasn't as smooth the first time.
This sound I can somewhat imitate because it’s not a complex sound, it’s just figuring out where and how to produce it from the throat. Matt explained it perfectly. I’m a girl so mine can’t go as deep as his but the effect is similar. Matt’s Ice Worm sound though, is hella awesome and complex. No clue where to even begin to replicate that. Amazing.
What i love is when he says he isn't a very good actor he is being genuine in saying he isn't good at faking emotion, he is trying to say that he personally feels the emotions of his characters because he's so deeply into them that it isn't an act anymore.
