@@Sonorawildlife I'm mobile. VanLife since 2016 all around the US. This one was taken in Duluth, Minnesota. The other one I captured was in the Guadalupe Mountains of New Mexico.
From the looks of it you would think it was something horrible... But its actually a blessing. Life is beautiful but being born is barely ever pretty. This water is moving all sorts of seeds and new plants will grow later on.

"ME TOO...I MISS MY FAMILY AND MY FRIENDS" I would like to know if he did drop a drawing from his pocket....and I would like his "friend" to at least admit he was jealous of his friend...and plead guilty but I guess he will get his when he ends up facing his bestie again in the afterlife. I'm sure he has a few things to say to him....
It is really so amazing how much water is in this flood. Didn’t seem like even enough rain to generate that flood rate. I’m glad you got to take such an amazing video & that you were safe.
going off toad. these fools need to stay home. you go out into the booneys you must be ready to spend three-four extra days out there. and why was that guy stuck in the mud? was nobody off road ready? jerk strap. tow rope, A winch?
Hey, I know you’re trying to save your life and all, but do you think you could at least keep the camera appointed in the proper direction I mean come on if you’re gonna die can we at least see it properly! I mean for educational safety and scientific purposes, of course………jk
I tried driving through flowing water like at 6:00. It wasn't as severe, more like 3ft and my truck started drifting sideways. Mind you, I was in a 1984 Toyota Land Cruiser) quite a heavy vehicle) but, luckily I made it across. It was quite scary, and I won't ever try that again. Glad you made it out safe too 👍

If that is from 10 minute's of rain, what happens if it rains for 24 hours? Or a few days. What's an incredible amount of water in such a short time. And thanks for the footage .. it's amazing how powerful water can be ...
That's a good question. Not sure I'd want to see that, but I'll never forget this moment. That's for sure. The desert doesn't get much rain per year typically, but as you can see, things can change instantly in just a matter of moments.
I know this video was made a year ago, but it’s just as important and interesting to watch now. It’s amazing how a small amount of water it up in the hills can come down stream and do so much damage. It was really neat to watch it coming down along the roadside and everything while you were driving. It almost made it look like it was alive and try to get ahead of you to cut you off. Glad you got out of that safely.😊🙏🏻
I was at Guadalupe yesterday and saw a dark amber object in the sky... in the similar direction as this. It was wobbling around... then it stopped moving... thought it was a bird, but then it stopped moving... so I decided to watch it and see what happened... it then shot straight down, got super bright white and then just vanished.
Did you get it on film? I still can't believe I captured this. Always looking for more since this. I think I may have seen a few more on my travels. But they're usually so far away, that I can't zoom that far with my phone.
@@ShawnSabot No I did not get it on film. It was far away so I'm not sure it would have shown up that well... the white streak at the end would have. I'm for sure going to be watching the skies more... especially on my trip through New Mexico! I like to listen to a lot of UFO stuff and there is a great channel by Preston Dennett on RU-vid where he goes over hundreds of cases. I was listening to one last night and one of the cases reminded me of this video. If you find his video titled "A Century of Humanoids: Twelve True Encounters" and go to 56:20, he talks about a couple who see a black cloud that apparently had a craft inside of it.
@@KeithStrang right on. I'll have to check it out. I caught another craft in Death Valley too while taking a time-lapse of sunset. That one is on my TikTok. Some sort of craft within a cloud going completely the other direction from all other clouds. Also unexplainable. @@ShawnSabot weird! That one reminds me of another video I've seen where a UFO shoots through the frame at high speed and it essentially "poofs out" a cloud. Nice capture!
Just got lucky, as I was only taking a time-lapse of the clouds at sunset. A kid kept trying to run into my frame while I recording though, so I had to keep stopping and restarting it. That one just turned out to be hiding something special within it. Totally different direction from any other clouds out there. Definitely something there.
