I believe I was able to clone a non- Samsung drive to a Samsung drive a over 5 years ago on a Dell with no issues - I was not able to clone a Samsung drive to a non-Samsung but was able to clone to the Samsung if I remember correctly - I now have a Sabrent model EC-SSD2 that can clone any NVMe to another NVMe - only rule is the to drive must be same size or larger - I have done it with four different manufacturer's drives -
I'm working on building the ultimate Chromecast 4K inside the Boxee Box case. I removed the insides and ordered the parts i need... The Chromecast is going to be in a heatsink sandwich and I'll be adding a case fan, I'm going to power the original LED panel to light up the Boxee logo, it'll have functional USB and HDMI ports on the back, a built in m.2 enclosure for app storage. If there enough room, I might add a function Ethernet port and possibly use the receiver to get the boxee remote to work with the Chromecast. Pretty excited to get to work building it! Also got a USB C passthrough, so externally you just plug in the USB C and HDMI and you're good to go.
I’m gonna get this for my Steam Deck OLED and for my Lenovo Legion Go handheld gaming PCs, I have the mouse already just gonna connect both to the Unifying receiver. Thanks for the review!
They clearly messed something up. I bought a K400R back in 2014, and I don't remember having so many issues with it, compared with what I have to deal with this new yellow K400 (the new one with yellow details). And it all started with extremely stupid design choices. They got rid of the "shut down", "home", "music" and "lock" shortcut buttons on the left top of the keyboard, and replaced it with a single "right click" yellow button. I have no idea why anyone thought this was a good idea. I do not know what its role is besides sitting there looking stupid, and useless. I used to be able to shut down my computer with a single keyboard shortcut click while I was falling asleep, now I have to actually do it. Very stupid. Another stupid take from logitech was the new layout of the directional arrow pad. The up/down keys are basically the size of a single left/right key. It looks incredibly cheap and cramped, and it should definitely be a dealbreaker for anyone interested in playing videogames. I never liked playing with WASD keys, but I had to learn because of this. Now, to the hardware itself. The "yellow K400" definitely feels cheaper the original K400R from 2014. I had to send back the first one I received, because the left mouse button came broken. Well, turns out it's still garbage. You actually have to press HARD to trigger the left click. Simply "clicking" on it won't do. The result is a noisy mess, even the keys themselves have a very unpleasing feeling. I'm not a big fan of highly sensitive "gaming type" keys, but typing on this things turns out to be extremely displeasing and the keys are extremely stiff after 3-6 months. Sure, there might be dust or whatever below them, but I never had something like that happen on the old version, which I treated even more poorly. But as pointed out, the trackpad is probably the worst part of it all. It is not a joke, this thing triggers itself for no reason at all, often causing embarrassing situations such as ; accidentally sending message, closing tabs, programs, or simply glitching you out of whatever you were doing, because of accidental (left/right) clicks, and buggy finger tracking. Sometimes it just stops tracking and you need to turn it on/off before it glitches you out of that very long RU-vid comment you were trying to write about it. The trackpad's texture is also trash and a definite downgrade from the earlier version. It doesn't feel like a trackpad but rather cheap plastic with zero grip. Another deplorable thing to point out is the firmware itself. That required Logitech driver thing is textbook bloatware designed to drain usage data, while not even letting you customise this thing properly, besides a couple of very rudimentary options. For instance, I would like to be able to change the "Scroll" and "Pinch to zoom" behaviour, because right now it is *ABSOLUTELY UNUSABLE* . "Scroll" has no effective sensitivity adjustment settings whatsoever, to a point where the slightest scroll will send you down of a 2600 pages pdf. "Pinch to zoom" is not actually what it says it is. While using a browser, this will simply change the scale of the page (like a mouse wheel does), instead of zooming on a particular portion of the screen, which is expected behaviour for any recent laptop or any other "finger pinch operated" mobile device. Not only that, but the two "functions" are conflicting together in a way that you can't use the "CTRL" touch for a few seconds after having used the "Scroll" function (because the "scrolling act" somehow stays in memory for longer than it needs) otherwise it will simply augment the size of the page to 500% ( or 25%, depending if you were scrolling up or down ). This infuriating nonsense will significantly slow down your browsing experience, especially if you're used to keyboard shortcuts, such as CTRL+T to open a new tab, or anything CTRL-related really, you will encounter the +500% accidental zoom. Anyone can replicate (one of many occurrences) of the issue by opening Google, scrolling up energetically, waiting 1 second and pressing CTRL. Anyway, terrible product, terrible company. It is cheap, but yeah it is not good anymore.
Fantastic review, I am surely late to the game buying this but it was on sale and I needed it. So glad I found your review with the full break down of the keyboard! Thanks so much! Cheers and subbed! Keep rockin it 😎👍 P.S. Wonderful cat!!
My old 360 died on me a month ago or so. After more than 11 years of service, the red ribg of death (finally) came in. Because i'm still playing the heck of this thing;i bought a "new" one from a used products/pawnshop here in the Netherlands. My whole library of downloaded games through the years was on that old harddrive. I thought that it would be quite some work to replace the hard drive, but thanks to your video; it is pretty easy to do. I don't care if the video is old. You never know when you need the instructions. Old is Gold!!
Just did the same thing, got a newer and faster m.2 and cloned my old m.2 in Samsung Magician. I had both of them connected into the m.2 slots. Surprisingly easy and painless to boot from the new drive. Now I’m just scared to wipe the old one because when I select ”Format” it tells me that some files are being used by ”some” program. Edit: I booted into safe mode and formatted the old partition. No warnings and everything is working 👌
@@lmstudio4298 I must agree especially if you have 4k blu ray that uses HDR. I tested out a 4k on my PS5 because someone bought it instead of a regular blu ray by mistake. the problem with 4k that is looks damn dark in some dark lighted scenes. so, if you have a 4k disc and don't have a 4k monitor. you're better off sticking with blu ray since most 4k movie on 4k would come with both 4k disc and standard blu ray disc of the same movie.. similar to what many blu-ray packaging come with a dvd copy. by the way. the PS5 can play 4K disc, blu ray, and regular dvd's. since 4K players including the PS5 are backward compatible to blu ray and dvd.
