Hi, I am planning on living in Barbados next year (as of January) and I would like to have some tips/information on how to rent a good apartment with wifi and great amenities for students. I would gladly appreciate any help. Is there a website I can check apartments out? I would like somewhere that is close to Christ Church; Bridgetown.... Hi Lo Fo To Rent in Barbados, for the Long Term Rental Option (6 Months- More) requires a Security Deposit and a First Months Rent, where Monthly Payments will be paid to the Landlord from the Second Month and onward. These rentals come in 3 categories the fully furnished, semi furnished, and the unfurnished; thus students would need to rent the fully furnished category. When it comes to the Islands' Medical Students, some of them would try to rent a house or apartment and split the cost of the utility bills( Electricity, Water, Natural Gas, Internet); but it would be profitable to the students if they could reason with the landlord to include all the utilities with the rent so they don't have to do the running around to utility companies to pay their bills and just be able to focus on there academic program. Depending on which University the Students will be attending that is either American University Of Barbados or Ross Medical University, students would normally try to rent properties withing walking distance; however, due to the fact this is an island of 166 sq miles that deems to be highly challenging due to lack of Long Term Rentals on the island lack of rental space so absolutely as a best option it would be wise for the students to rent in accommodation close to a very reliable bus route. Such Routes preferable routes run along the Number 10 or the Number 11 route, or the 3D ZR Route Taxi Transportation Route..
