Yep, it was. Just increased the volume a little so it could be heard better in the video. Sounded just like my stock g37. It’s not that these sound bad stock it’s just that they are quieter than the first gen’s and then Infiniti added increased sound deadening on 2nd gen’s for a quieter interior so it’s difficult to hear the stock exhaust inside the cabin.
No, that could be a lot of things, check your battery first, fuel pump, starter, possibly even alternator, but not like to have anything to do with the cruise cancel switches.
i have nissan rogue 2017 when i turn on the cruise control it pops up the screen blinking...it keeps blinking even when i set up the speed its not and keeps blinking...could you help me please
More than likely has to do with the cancel switch on your brake pedal. Here’s a video I did with my Infiniti on blinking cruise hope it helps ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tTfNRmXL5GU.htmlsi=OMTDkxN4HavkdUHv
I’m not a lazy fat American with to much screen time on my hands, so I removed my useless tire pressure sensors, covered the low pressure light with a black marker, and threw them in the lake. I will continue to do what people have been doing since Henry Ford was convinced we all need vehicles…and that is to get off your lazy fat ass and check your tire pressure at every single fuel fill up. Thanks for sharing how you were (once again) able to overcome your dilemma of forgetting about the things that your vehicle rolls on at highway speeds. Much respect to the clueless, lazy, uninformed world that need to be reminded to WAKE UP when you’re operating a 2-1/2 ton piece of steel and plastic at 80 $&@“ mph !
Any idea how to fix a g35 that has the VDC Off light come on whenever the headlights are turned on ?? Also VDC button does not work ! I have after market spec d headlights that were installed by previous owner light been on ever since I got it can’t find the issue
If it was on all the time I'd say it could be low brake fluid or a cam sensor. Might want to run an OBII scanner on it just to see if any codes pop up. However, if it only comes on when your headlights are on and you don't notice any difference in driving (no cut in power etc) then it definitely sounds like a wiring issue with your headlights. Here's a thread on other people having the issue but there's not much there as it's rare g35driver.com/forums/g35-sedan-v35-2003-06/465252-slip-light-vdc-turned-off.html I agree with one of the commenters there that the best course is to unplug your ballasts one at a time to see if you can isolate which headlight it is that's causing it. It could be a bad ground, or whoever installed them tapped into something they shouldn't have. You can get to the ballasts / bulbs by going through the wheel wells (remove both front wheels and the plastic shields) but it's still pretty tight in there. Otherwise to remove the whole headlight you'll have to remove the front bumper. Hope that helps somewhat.
@@GQ37official I definitely have to try the the cam sensor and topping off the fluid, do you know what I should look for when I unplug the ballast , and how should I test them to see which one is causing my VDC button to not work/ stay on with lights on. My driving experience is not affected, the slip light and traction control work as normal , just no indication of the button working only when lights are flipped on, I will be subscribing also ! This is a really tricky situation hopefully I can fix it and publish this information for this rare occurrence to have a final fix solution for everyone !
@@antthonnyyy I would unplug one ballast at a time and turn on the car and see if the light stays on. If so, Plug it back in and try the other one. If it goes off with one of them unplugged you'll know which light is causing the problem and trace the wires, it could be a bad ground, it could be bad power (depending on what it's wired to) I would expect that it will be one headlight or the other, but if it stays on regardless of which one you unplug try unplugging both (both headlight ballasts unplugged) This should make it go off as this should essentially be the same as both headlights being turned off. This would still indicate some bad wiring somewhere and if you're unable to trace it then you may need to bring it to someone that's decent with wiring and has a voltage meter and can help you narrow it down.
@@GQ37official got it, I will attempt this an come back once I figure out what the exact problem is causing the VDC light to turn on and I’ll make sure I have an answer to fix this problem thank you I appreciate very hard to find tips for this problem !
Possibly, but this other video I did on my 350z might be closer to your altima switches, hopefully one of them helps. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NPSNYonzO0E.htmlsi=R9qtNTLWI1I456iS
Hi, did you notice the lagging transmission issues that many are talking about? I remember you switched to sport mode from Regular/EV mode. Your thoughts!!!!
Yes I talked more about that in my first review comparing it to the cx9. It definitely hesitates going from first to 2nd or when you’re crushing and mash the gas to accelerate it definitely has hesitation to downshift. I’ve noticed this with a lot of newer vehicles, I suspect trying to meet newer emissions standards has changed gear ratios etc as this is becoming more common. That’s probably why going back to my cx9 it felt more responsive and quicker off the line (in addition to being primary fwd pull vs push) the cx90 feels good when it gets going but it never has that push you in your seat feeling. However, the 340hp variant is better than the 280hp one and that’s what I really wanted to find out.
I used 6k morimoto HIDs for the mains and ordered 6k led canbus bulbs for the drl abs side markers that I got on ebay. The link for the ones I used is in the video description.
Loved mine until I discovered it has a manufacturing issue that causes cracked cylinder heads that leaks coolant externally. under 100k miles. $6k issue. Joined the class action lawsuit and will never buy Mazda again.
Sorry to hear that. In the past few years a lot of 2016s and 2017s have been affected by that. Was yours in that year range? Apparently we were fortunate with ours and never experienced that. We did just experience a 1 of 1 problem though that they had never seen and were unable to fix after 4 attempts so they bought it back from us. Will do a video on that soon and the replacement…
I sold that particular FX but I still see it around town often and it still looks great. I had done this to my previous fx as well and it stayed looking great for the remaining 4 years that I owned it.
There’s no way that was the stock exhaust. I have the same exact car in grey and mine doesn’t even sound close to your Stock video. I will admit I just got the car it has 60k miles rebuilt title and the exhaust is REALLY rusty but I checked for any leaks or holes and they didn’t find any. Mine sounds no where near as yours stock. You sure it was stock before you got it ?
A few months ago I saw your other video on CX 9 Sig. We bought a 2023 Mazda CPO CX 9 Signature black ext with white nappa leather at 15,600 miles on 15 Mar'24. Loving it for the near 400 miles driven so far. Think the CX 9 is much more pretty and awe inspiring than a CX 90. Luxurious vehicle with so many features. We had no idea before but our 10 year old son loves the console in the second row and is often falling asleep there as I drive with his arms or head resting on it (acting as a pillow)! Very comfortable vehicle and extremely pleased.
Anyone got ideas of what to do if you can’t open it? Mine the mechanism sounds like it’s working but there’s a zipper caught in it (I’m aware that it’s dumb). Doesn’t seem like I’d be able to disassemble while it’s closed.
Will it open via the emergency release inside like I did around the 0:20 mark or is that stuck too? If that won’t open either I’m not sure how to get to it
@@maggiewathen7053 oh gotcha. Yeah if the zipper and whatever is stuck is visible definitely work on getting that removed. Hopefully it doesn’t scratch up your bumper too much in the process, but the bag is probably a lost cause unfortunately.
@@GQ37official if you were invested we ended up just sticking a crow bar in it on the inside then activated the button on the outside and it popped open!
lol. Thanks for watching, but you're behind a bit. I did a whole series on building my music vehicle, which i then sold and got my current music vehicle. You should watch some of my newer videos 😂
No the Rev 9 aka Manzo axel back by itself wasn’t too bad. I had that on my car first and did a separate video on that about the Manzo, which is the same thing. They had a little bit of drone so I ended up doing a video about putting some sounding material underneath my rear seats and that helped lower the decibels a lot because I did like the way that sounded. When I decided to go full custom exhaust using those Manzo/Rev 9 mufflers it was too loud because I used hfc, an X pipe and got rid of the resonators with 2.5 piping all the way back so that’s when I had to add my stock muffler back to the set up to quiet it down a little bit.
Hey Chris, I recently came across some of your videos, and I think they're awesome! I just subscribed. Anyway, I still own my modified '15 Q50 3.7 Premium RWD that has an optional navigation in the 8" upper screen + a few other minor options... I still love the car, but for work, I might be moving to a place that gets a lot of snow... I'll at the least probably want an AWD crossover. A fully loaded, minus the 21" wheels - 2016-2017 QX70 3.7 AWD with the 20" wheels and low miles are what I'm looking to buy. I prefer the 2016-2017 models because my Q50 is a 2015, and I want my next Infiniti to be a newer model year. Ok, I'm ready to watch this now. I paused the video at the start to type this first. I hope you like the QX70? Thanks for making this. My name is Chris as well. Ttyl 👍
Awesome. I love my qx70. No regrets getting it. I ended up buying a 350z to putt around it and drove to work to keep the miles off my ax, but I’d buy the qx70 again in a heartbeat. That’s why I got the last year they made with the least amount of miles I could find. I need to do a 3+ year ownership video now.
Funny, I just sold my 2008 Infiniti FX35 to get a 2020 Mazda CX-9, and they do look similar. Im a week in already with the car and I love it. No regrets
