I am six months into treatment for stomach cancer using Nivolumab Plus Ipilimumab, I had an adverse event 4 month into treatment and developed Adrenal Insufficiency and Hypothyroidism both of which is controlled with medication. Unbelievable joint pain, bordering on paralysis, arms shoulders and legs, literally screaming out in pain at times this can last 3 days to a week then just abates within hours back to normal - joy, pain free for days, then it comes on again the dreaded agony. The diarrhoea awful and uncontrollable, forget the embarrassment Imodium helps, no appetite just nauseous most days am now on heavy steroids which thankfully so far so good.

Felt fine. Little weakness. Tired. Not enough study has been done on this drug yet their charging patients thousands.
I was born with a intersex condition that caused me to develop . My DNA is male but I developed a form of testicular-ovarian cancer. As a result of the advanced nature of my cancer I needed extensive chemo and several surgeries as a result. Last year my doctors suggested I maybe at risk for more ovarian and even breast cancer. A mammogram appointment was made at a small hospital clinic near where I live. When I showed up last august 15 the staff took note that my gender was listed as being nonbinary on my medical records. I was confronted in the waiting room about my gender and they clearly did not like it. With in five minuets I was escorted out the front door of the hospital and out on the street. I still have not been given a mammogram, I totally humiliated and cannot go back to that hospital. I live day to day as a male but one who has a body development that is clearly intersex. I horrid situation. I did nothing wrong accept being born in the wrong body.
I have been on this combo for four months and psa is starting to rise again ☹️. The initial hormone therapy also only lasted four months and I’m allergic to chemo. I will be going to another center to see about pluvicto. Last option at this point but maybe if I live long enough they will come up with something else ❤
I am 90, very good from neck upwards, but have arthritis, stenosis of the spine, osteopenia, endocrine problems, as well as breast cancer. It is no good trying to treat just one of these things. What is good for cancer is not necessarily good for arthritis in the spine. People need to be treated AS A WHOLE PERSON, but western medical practice today is a long way from this now. I find out myself too about foods that are good and bad for these conditions and try an finf a balance, so far quite successfully, but doctors have not helped me with this. I amBritish in the UK. The oain I have is from the arthritis, but I have healthy liver and kidneys, so take cannabis oil rather than pain killing drugs.
Oh the arrogance of these doctors. They love to dictate their treatment plan, but never give the patient options and agency over their own lives and bodies. Stop coercing, deceiving, intimidating and extorting men into getting ADT CASTRATION with all its horrific quality of life destroying and life threatening side effects. I had stage 4 melanoma was put on Opdivo immunotherapy but after years on it I developed pneumonitis. At first zpac prednisone and Ariythomyisin worked but as I continued immunotherapy it wasn’t working. My cancer is gone but now have shortness of breath not during rest but with activity. After two lung doctors I’m still not healed . It will be two years this coming March 2024 ; second doctor says it’s in the bronchial tubes. But I haven’t been given any form of treatment. I do t think they even know. Praying!
I just found out my prostate cancer spread to the bones’ my right hip is in constant pain and I have a limp’ also right hip locks-up’ and this sounds exactly what I believe to have? I’ve done a PET-CT and prostate biopsy! I thought the music was fine as it pertains to my issue! Video clip was great!
What happens when the physician doesn’t answer to you when you call her to tell horrible side effects that are completely new to you and you don’t know what to do my life changed for the worse at these because I don’t know how to deal with some many symptoms at the same more than ten
Did the side effects reduce ? And how long should polycythemia Vera therapy take it , specifically with the newer version of interferon therapy for two weeks? Thank you
She is my doctor! She is and does amazing. She makes you feel comfortable but is straight forward with what is ahead. She continues to see me and is the same person from day one. I am 2 years cancer free!
Keytruda has shipwrecked my immune system. I’ve been in chronic pain for months after pulling the plug on this drug. Symptoms include painful and locked joints, both knee and elbow. A sinus infection that lasted for months even with antibiotics. Pancreatitis and fatigue. The chronic pain is the worst.

It is a great opportunity to have immunotherapy. My mother had total laryngectomy around 2 years ago. On April she had metastases in neck and lung. She refused to have any chemo or radio. Now the doctors told us to do immunotherapy but it is not available here in my country. I have to pay for it and it is a huge amount of money for us. I wish everyone to be safe healthy and totally healed from this disease 🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️ I pray to God for my mother too
