Just finished binging this and I could not be more excited for a season 2! Thoughtful and funny writing and a great cast. Thank you for sharing this with us 😊🌈
Yes. we suggest watching in order - Eps 1-10 (written in the title). Each episode should lead you to the next automatically. We've also put together a playlist for you on our page. Enjoy!
The grandchildren came out, yhe grandparents came out, now season 2 needs to come out too WE NEED SEASON 2, WE NEED SEASON 2, WE NEED SEASON 2 I truly loved this show
I really hope we can keep watching this family grow. Love the concept. My husband and I of 33 years haven’t met any other gay grandparents like us. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is so amazingly good I had to immediately watch it a second time. So very refreshing to see these grandparents, my age, with a new beginning. Everything about this production is as good as Tales of the City and Queer as Folk were in their day. I love all the characters, so well played and funny. I really hope you find the means to continue their stories. I need to see them. Thank you for making it.
You’ve managed to make me laugh and cry so quickly in 11 minutes, and you were able to add Toronto history at the same time. This show is so amazing and beautiful!
Wasting my time hiding ... i feel you grams, i feel you 😢😢 One day or another, the bravery to do the right thing for your inner true self... not compulsory to come out but an emergency to live. ❤
Wow It's this kind of Netflix series that I needed to watch without knowning it ! Many thanks ❤ my mental health is improving thanks to those real gems !
This does not make sense. These relatively old guys were in their tweenties and therties in the seventies and eighties, the golden pre aids era. Here they seem to be 120 years old or more and just arrived from the moon. The elder characters match with the sketchy parodical image youngsters have from anyone over 50, specially in these times with little intergenerational interaction.
Perhaps their hometown of Branhaven is equally as alien as the moon haha. Our thinking was that in order to hide Barbara and Russell distanced themselves from gay culture as much as humanly possible, so they have no idea what's going on. Our creators also wanted to highlight the feeling of imposter syndrome when first coming out, which is what they felt when first hitting the LGBTQ+ scene.
Thanks for watching! We love our Barbara, she's played by the fabulous Jane Moffat. You can find out more about all the actors here on IMDb: www.imdb.com/title/tt14537896/?ref_=hm_rvi_tt_i_3
