What happened with the salt? I never saw you put it in prior to cooking the beets-or after. Do you put the salt in the water? Or do you sprinkle it after the beet is sliced?
Thanks for this video. My late wife(a tick bite and an incompetent doctor killed her) was an RN and loved to cook. She had over 1000 cook books. I'm learning to cook. Today is zucchini bread. Somehow the butternut squash all came up as zucchini so, I'm overwhelmed. with zukes. Good Luck, Rick
I am so sorry about your wife. That is very sad. I am also and RN with 100's of cookbooks. I don't think I have 1000 but I have more than anyone I know. If you have lots of zucchini you may like this video. I think it is delicious. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QMaATTibhWM.html
@@CookingLessonsforDad Martha started her collection in 1963 so, she had a big head start on you. 'm boxing up most of them to free up shelves in the pantry. Thanks. Good Luck, Rick
I’m watching this video and making the your lentils recipe right now .. I added garlic and bacon to my onions and some seasonings, I also made a pot of rice! I can’t wait to try this !! 😋
Hello! I've been going thru so many videos of the past that you've posted, and everything looks so good! Is there a way to get the full recipes with ingredients? That would help me a lot! Thank you!
Thanks. It’s nice to see you too! I was wondering about you since I haven’t seen your comments lately. I am trying to get back to posting videos regularly. Have a great day!
I am so very sorry for your loss. I just found your channel because I was looking for an easy way for my daughter to cook corn on the cob for our family cookout. I found the one with you and your Dad and immediately fell in love with the two of you and had to look at your playlist. Then I see this, I am truly sorry, I lost my Dad last year on Christmas morning and I miss him so very much that seeing you with your Dad put a smile on my face. I was such a Daddy’s girl. Please continue to talk about him, I know it’s hard right now but the more you talk and tell little tidbits about him you’ll eventually find yourself smiling when you talk about him.
Thank you so much for your kind thoughts and advice. I am just starting to get back into posting videos. I think he would have wanted me to. He talked about this channel lots.
I've always found that the best thing for oven-baked french fries like this is a bit of rosemary if you're feeling fancy! Rosemary fries are such a special treat.
@@CookingLessonsforDad It was absolutely delicious! I have been making this 3-4 times a week. Absolutely easy, healthy and delicious. Thank you so much!
I do this all the time but I always get a little impatient and take them out too early to start eating. I will try to let them go 35 min next time. They look so good. I also like to take a small bowl of mayo and squeeze some Siracha Sauce or Louisiana Hot Sauce into it and stir for a bit for a dipping sauce. I can make a meal of this. Thanks for making the video.
