I do the same but when press play. It is not playing. When I press the arp button no sound is coming up when I play the keyboard. I don’t know what to do with that
It is great that it is real time, but man the ergonomy is wrong, you should be able to mark a step accent and/or slide and change the note while keeping that config like on the device sequencer. I think I'll have to write someting myself if they didn't improved it... I mean this video it 3 years old, I'm sure to not be the only one with that concern...
I might be being stupid, but is Synthtribe supposed to allow you to program rests? I've been storing patterns with rests, but when I recall them the rests are filled in with whatever the preceding note is. Any help really appreciated
Thanks so much... I don't know if I can get any help. But... I kinda fail on the first step - everything is set but I choose time mode, choose amount of notes and when I hit play, they are modulated, have pitch accent etc. So weird. And every time I start again it's random))
Hi. I'm having an issue using Synthtribe, where I store a pattern with rests in it, but then when I recall it, the rests have been filled in. Any thoughts on this? Cheers
Thanks a lot ! I never took time to understand how track mode works and damn ; it's pretty powerfull ! I am currently working with my td-3 and it opens so many possibilities !
Thanks a lot for all your T-8 tutorials ! I saw on your last videos, that your T-8 is only switched via USB port, how do you listen and record in the same time ? Noob question :p
Just wanted to thank you for great video. Funny, I saw people online comment on how complicated the Liven XFM was which I found a breeze to program. Yet this TD-3 was another story. If I left it for a few weeks it was like starting over to learn it. I sat down today with it and your video in front of me and was happily creating patterns one after the other with rests and accents in no time. I’m sure they’re people out there who found the TD-3 to be like my experience with the XFM but as for me your video was a lifesaver. Again thanks.
Hello everyone, I would like to know how I can connect the Roland TR-8S together with the Behringer TD-3 and how the TR-8S then determines the tempo and also the stop/play
I find it better to connect a midi cable to out of the tr8 and into the "in" on the td3 . Drums are better for keeping time. Make sure you have the TD3 set to midi mode and you'll need maybe to configure transport controls which makes the play button on the tr8s trigger the TD3 to start
thank you! its been difficult finding a quick video on dumping, recalling etc. for my rd6 and i was too precious with my patterns to try myself lol, didnt want anything to disappear. ✌
The Roland T8 is probably my favourite music making machines. So easy to use but these little tutorials are always so useful, mostly because the instructions manual supplied by Roland is rather basic. I've probably learnt more from this and various other RU-vid videos than from the manual.
Hello, I bought a TB3 and I can't synchronize them via MIDI IN/OUT between the devices. I have both devices on channel 10 and the other on MIDI. What do I need to configure?
if this damn machine didn't sound so dope I would have trashed it I've been programming modular gear for damn near 40 years and Elektrons language is like learning Navajo... The manual wouldn't even make this clear but You did.. bravo (says you can do while playing seq. too) You may wanna mention if you have previous track data (example length that is shorter than original you are pasting) then it will NOT paste. Had to change the length of destination to match the prior to get thgis to paste)
