A very underrated lens! I take pictures with this on my Sony a7iii and it has amazing color, character that’s great for landscapes, riding in the back of a car and shooting, portraits, etc!
The best is always a 1.4 or so since it's the sharpest and has the best lighting but they are often $600-$1200. Then you have like your 2.8 or 3.5-5.6 which are cheaper but worse in low light and not as sharp. Those often go from $150-400 or so. So it depends on what you're going for. If you can afford the 1.4 go for the others. There is a significant difference in the quality But you can get decent quality with cheaper lenses just not crisp quality and you look at other people's videos with the same cam and wonder how they get that quality.
